I only seem to get libido and good/random erections during a protocol change, I have reduced my dosage several times and each time I get good libido in week 2 or 3 and then it dissapears. I am a daily low shbg injector.
Has anyone dealt with this and how did you rectify it?

Hello everyone.
I was on trt for a few years and came off to try and have kids. We have one on the way, so I'm weighing my options and thinking about going back on.
Labs from a few months ago:
Labcorp
Total T 570 246 - 916 ng/dl
Free T 7.3 8.7 -...
I have many of the same issues that I see here everyday, not great energy, low libido but its better than before trt. I've been on injectables for 2 years.
My current weekly protocol is 100mg T, split SubQ twice per week and 500 iu HCG twice a week. I just got my labs back and have a consult...
When I first started TRT around 10 months ago, my SHBG was around 21. Due to this, many on these forums recommended doing EOD injections, which is what I have been doing. I have noticed that over these past 10 months, my SHBG has been increasing slightly, with it being 30 on my most recent blood...
I am making the switch from cream to injectable T cypionate. I started with cream because I thought it would be more convenient; however, I’ve become convinced it is actually less convenient, as you have to wait for it to dry and plan shower/swim/workout/sex times around it (two times a day, at...
For those with either NAFLD/NASH or high lipids (trigylcerides, ldl, etc), a drug called mgl-3196 by Madrigal Pharm. just concluded its phase 2 trial and patients had an average of their SHBG increasing 80% from baseline with some over 100%. Drug also statistically significantly lowered...
I've just discovered that SHBG levels will determine what injection frequency is best for the individual.
My last two SHBG tests were 36 and 42, range 18 - 57 nmol/L
Are these considered high, optimal, or low?
I have a low SHBG (14.4 last lab). Since measuring my SHBG (even before i started trt) it has always been between 14 and 18.
I have used a lot of protocols the past 3 years with sustanon:
once a week 125 mg, 150 mg 250 mg (no effect, no weightgain, no nothing. Even on 250 mg for 6 weeks what...
Why does a low Free T % cause symptoms? I calculate 2 profiles.
A guy with 600 total T and shbg at 30, and a guy with 800 total T with shbg at 50.
Using an online free T calculator, guy 1 has a 2.30% free T and guy 2 has a 1.75%.
Both will have similar direct free T numbers of 14 ng/dl. But...
So as I mentioned in another thread, my endo prescribed sustanon-250 once every two weeks, with review after three shots (labs taken day before third shot). I am aware of the T-level fluctuation related issues with high-dose low-frequency injections (half-lives and all that) but my problem isn't...

Hi guys,
I'm strongly considering injecting myself 3x per week rather than the 2x per week I have been doing. The doctor suggested I might have some success with it as well. I currently inject only my HCG 3x per week. My SHGB is 21, would I inject M/W/F? How would I feel on Saturday and Sunday...
After realizing that after 8-9 yrs of being on TRT that I have been using way too much Test for my body... I have been injecting anywhere from 170-220mg per wk, started at 2xWK, then EOD, now ED, from IM to SQ..... my levels have always been top 80% of TT range and top 90-120% of FT range, low...
High IGF1, Low HDL, Low SHBG, but normal Blood glucose and A1C. Fit and not overweight at all. Thyroids are all good, no fatty liver
Would you say there's a possibility that I suffer from mild insulin resistance? What other tests are out there to confirm this?
It's been years and I'm still...
My shbg has come up at 23 and 25 on separate tests.
I'd like to inject as infrequently as possible while still being stable.
How often should I be injecting?
Is every 3 days ok for my T and HCG?
Gentlemen,
I'm glad I found this group there's been a lot to learn so far and the forum has been an informative resource. Here's my story. I'm 43 and have I've been on TRT for around 1.5 years and have not had much success in consistently getting the erections I had Pre-TRT. My libido is...
Guys,
Labs below. I’m new to the cite but looking for some help. I am currently on week 2 of TRT. I battled with this decision for several years. 3 years ago I had a TT of 359 at age 33. Now 36, I had my labs done and I’m at 602 but my free test is at 13. My SHBG is also high and estradiol on...
I searched the forums but could not find the answer. For those of you who have increased injection frequency, have you seen an increase in SGBH? Does changing injection frequency have any impact on SHBG? Thanks

Hi all,
I’m in the process of scheduling a consultation with Defy but also wanted to visit a Urologist in-person for a consultation to discuss TRT and some post vasectomy pain. I have an upcoming appointment with Dr. Melograna from MidAtlantic Urology. Other members have posted about him on...
Good afternoon,
After doing more research and reviewing the responses to my other thread, I’ve decided to schedule an appointment with Defy to get a consultation and potentially start a TRT protocol to treat my low free testosterone. I looked back at my lab history over the past 2 years and I...
Trying to not make a wall of text here as it's really not that interesting. I've been living in basically hell for the last 10 years and need to get to the bottom of this before I off myself. (Joking, but not really somedays it feels).
(Back story)
34 now, married one child. Have had low T...
Hi all,
I’ve been treating hypothyroidism over the last 2.5 years and finally after multiple medications and doses i’ve found what works well for me. I take a combination of unithyroid and cytomel along with some iodine. Unfortunately, since I started my treatment, my SHBG has been...
Does anyone feel like anatrozole affects their memory recall and cognitive abilities? I have been on daily shots with .25mg of adex daily for a few months now and am having ED, issues learning things, and articulating myself. Not sure if I just bottomed out my E or if it might be a side effect...

Hi all, new here. I got a reading of 24 for my SHBG on my last reading. Based on that number, what would a good injection frequency be? Am I still in a normal enough range for every 3-3.5 days? Any recommended doses for this SHBG number as well? Thanks.
So I got my 6 week labs and it shows TT at 330, Estradiol at 43, SHBG 16.8 (started at 29 pre TRT) and Free T at just under 10 (they want me at 25 but I would take 15 to be honest). They have me dosed at 140mg Test Cyp weekly however after this lab they bumped me to 200mg weekly. I am doing much...
I have been on TRT since 2011. Initially on a compounded creme (MedQuest) switching later to Axiron and for the past year on testosterone cypionate. I started at the typical dose of 100 mg/week. These labs were drawn to evaluate a dose of 160 mg/wk. I inject IM into my glutes. I am 55. I...

With all the emphasis placed on the importance of SHBG and the free hormones I was wondering what people thought about the article below. Apologies if this has already been posted /discussed.
