Cream vs Androgel

For those of you who have tried both which one to you have most success with - Androgel or Compounded Cream?

Never have used AndroGel, but of the doctors that I follow or have heard speak, none prescribe AndroGel.
Apparently it's dosed way to low for the vast majority of men to reach optimal levels.
They all use compounded creams/gels for their patients not on injections.

Defy compounded "T" cream works quite well for me and is relatively inexpensive as I self pay.
200mg/ml and I normally use 1/2 mil/day. About a 1/4 teaspoon...
