Hey everyone,

I have been on 100mg of Testosterone Cypionate & 750 iu hCG for 8 weeks. My subcutaneous injection schedule is as follows:

20mg Test C - Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday

250 iu hCG - Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday

I have never had acne this bad before. My back and face are very bad right now. I thought it may be the high estradiol, so my doctor prescribed me Anastrozole. The dose was 0.5mg x 3 times per week. I know that is quite high so l've taken 0.25mg twice this week, hoping for some improvement.

If anything, it's gotten worse. I have become extremely self conscious and insecure about the acne. My face and hands are also swollen.

I posted a thread about body acne a few weeks ago. My back was beginning to break out but not horribly, my face was completely fine. Now my back has substantially worsened, and my face has completely broken out.

I am feeling much better mentally and physically since starting TRT. My free test was in the 100s so I felt horrible. I exercise daily, drink a lot of water and mostly eat clean.

I am really hoping I can get this under control. I've tried Clindamycin/Benzoyl Peroxide, Doxycycline and I am now considering Accutane.

I'm hoping someone can share their experiences and maybe some recommendations? I would really appreciate some help.

Testosterone increases aldosterone produced in the adrenal glands, which enters the kidneys, and tells the kidneys to absorb more sodium, ad sodium carries water. This can lead to fluid retention and swelling.

HCG can cause acne, and fluid retention, more so than TRT in isolation.

No, don't, this can cause loss of libido and erections and can be irreversible. I would not screw with your hormonal pathways using an endocrine disruptor.

Just lower your doses or stop the hCG.
