New Member: Worse Off than ever after years of TRT, HCG now not working, debilitating insomnia - Please Help !

The only time I sleep and feel rested is when I take a bunch of CNS depressants such as alcohol
This may help explain some things, alcohol can increase estrogen. Estrogen helps with sleep. Some men have bottomed out estrogen on TRT and need hCG together with TRT.

Last time I checked it (sensitive), it was 69 when it’s supposed to be 29 or less and my total T was 1300. I know I don’t have low estrogen that’s for sure, but it may be too high.

I’m just overly stimulated from TRT and can’t get into a proper sleep, so when I depress my CNS I can sleep. I need to find a protocol that allows me to not be stimulated all the time. I have felt stimulated on shots even with a total T of 550 and still couldn’t sleep.

I hope cream works to solve this issue.

You need a reality check! There are no natural men walking around with a TT at 1300, in the absence of abnormally high SHBG, with estrogen <29! The estrogen ranges, which vary greatly between lab companies, are derived from men with TT below 500 and not men on TRT with optimized T.

I undestand, my point was just to show that it certainly wasn't a low figure. I don't normally monitor e2 at all, I never take AI and just let me body set it naturally. I understand that a total T trough of 1300 is too high, which is why I reduced dosages to bring it down, but I just wanted to show that the e2 certainly wasn't low is all.

Have you tried *** ? For me it winds me down before bed and makes me get a great sleep when I use it.

What's your routine before bed ? Are you on your phone scrolling? Do you eat at a later time ?

I have a Samsung smart watch and it has a sleep coach on there that I use when needed. Got some great tips and obviously checks your sleep status through the night so you can make improvements etc

I hope you find the solution

Understanding Your Hormones

Estradiol (E2)

A form of estrogen produced from testosterone. Important for bone health, mood, and libido. Too high can cause side effects; too low can affect well-being.

DHT

Free Testosterone

The biologically active form of testosterone not bound to proteins. Directly available for cellular uptake and biological effects.
