Study re: bi-weekly injections

My hematocrit is lower on EOD injections and even lower on daily injections, since when is this agency an expert in the field TRT?

I wouldn't trust anything this agency, the endocrine society and the FDA has to say about all things related to TRT.

They all have their own agendas and cannot be trusted in matters of TRT.

... The cohorts were separated into 27 men on 200mg of T once weekly (QW) and 28 men on 80-160mg of T twice weekly (BIW). Indication for BIW dosing was a return of hypogonadal symptoms prior to the administration of the next dose. ...

How are thee flawed? Let me count the ways: No average dose/standard deviation for BIW cohort (some were taking 320 mg/week!!!). No controlling for testosterone levels. No controlling for SHBG—want to bet that low SHBG was overrepresented in the BIW cohort? No mention of average changes in hematocrit in the two cohorts.

Also keep in mind: an association, even if real, does not establish causality. E.g., wearing dresses is strongly associated with breast cancer. Doesn't mean it causes it.

When this study appeared two years ago, I discussed it with my urologist (he does not manage my TRT protocol). We agreed they got it wrong.

As @Cataceous noted, wrong in design (on multiple levels).

Ignore with confidence.

Understanding Your Hormones

Estradiol (E2)

A form of estrogen produced from testosterone. Important for bone health, mood, and libido. Too high can cause side effects; too low can affect well-being.

DHT

Dihydrotestosterone is a potent androgen derived from testosterone. Affects hair growth, prostate health, and masculinization effects.

Free Testosterone

The biologically active form of testosterone not bound to proteins. Directly available for cellular uptake and biological effects.
