Testosterone level

I am having a issue. I recently started with defy again. As my doc retired. I was doing 20mg eod this kept my T at 500-600 with free T middle of the road. E2 was around 25 on quest ultra sensitive. On defy I got moved to 28mg eod. This gives me a level of 700-800 and free T upper range on multiple tests. E2 was 28. My SHBG was 31. My issues are libido is gone , penis seems cold and tight. Erections are slightly worse also. Can the extra T do that? Can one be sensitive to androgens? I also get almost a anxiety feel as well. I don’t see E2 as being the issue.

If you felt good in your previous protocol just switch back to it.

How was your libido when in the 500-600 ranges versus 700-800 ranges?

I would have a raging libido with your either of your numbers, now if I can only be as lucky as you and get E2 lower. It seems like you may need E2 lower if libido was better when E2 was 25 versus 28.

I know your SHBG is midrange, but have you considered daily injections?

I thought about daily, just not sure why I seem worse on higher levels. Things are pretty good at the lower dose not perfect but definitely better than the higher dose. Just not sure what I’m missing

You only complain about things now, what about before the change? Did you have any complaints then? That's a rather benign change. Any AI use then or now?

Did you give it at least 9-12 months at the 500-600 ranges?

I used a AI awhile back the slightest dose of .125 twice weekly sent my E2 into the teens. Was not feeling well on that. I have been in the 500-600 range for 6 plus months. Is it more of a neurotransmitter thing wth the higher T? I felt pretty good always had on and off days with erections at that lower level but with the higher levels penis seems lifeless almost “cold and numb”

I used HCG but find it just makes me feel off, increases testicle size sure, but no real benefit. So I use the bare minimum to keep atrophy at bay. 150iu twice weekly. I always read it’s better to keep free T at the upper range . I can only handle it in the middle. That’s better than when I started TRT free T was just under low cut off.

When I upped my dose I felt the same as you but eventually after about two weeks things started to improve and my erections cames back in full strength.
