Free T low, total t high.

Free T... My total test came back at 900 on a scale of 250-850. But my free came back low, 11, on a scale of 9-22. shbg is 45, Inj frequency is 2x a week. (80 mg total for week) What else should I be looking at as to why my free T is lower?? THX

You need a higher dosage, because you have SHBG on the higher end.

Androgens suppress SHBG, which is what you want, allowing Free T to increase.

If you doctor isn’t up to date on TRT, you’re in for a fight to get a proper treatment protocol.

Highly doubtful you had your FT tested using an accurate assay.

You would need to have it tested using Equilibrium Dialysis.

Look where your FT would sit using the cFTV.

Far from low!
