There are some topics here and in other forums (please Google "TRT and ED" on Reddit or other forums) of men complaining about having ED on TRT after being good and dialed for months or even years and suddently developing impotence out of nowhere.

Suspects are: estrogen imbalances, low SHBG.

What is not causing ED on TRT: Diet, anxiety, dopamine, stress, psychological problems, insonia, or whatever.

The number of men having this problem is increasing alongside with TRT obvious becoming mainstream making lots of men go on testosterone/anabolics. ED, small dick talk, etc, were sterotypes always associated with steroid uses and bodybuilders and I start to suspect that being on Testosterone is not a recipe to become Superman. Specially down there. It does not cures all. Anedotes are increasing. We need to analyze this seriously.

I myself am suffering with this after 4 YEARS being good on TRT. I myself would never believe that men could have ED injecting testosterone. Quite the oposite. i believe in TRT comunity and tough men on TRT would became supermens and porn actors kinda of men. Now I am trying to solve it without much sucess for EIGHT MONTHS changing frequency, esters, trying to suplement, switching diets, everything! I would love to keep using Testosterone because of other aspects on body composition, energy and so on but seems like it now shuts off my libido/penis like an toggle of on/of when I inject. Please, READ THIS, I stopped injecting again (is not the first time I am trying to test it) for almost two weeks and guess what? My libido have been good for days till today, minutes ago, where I did injected again a small dose of 30mg of Testosterone Cypionate to prove it and I am right... MY LIBIDO TURNED OFF AGAIN AND I CAN'T GET AN ERECTION not even watching porn let alone have sex. I am UNABLE to have an erection now even if you point a gun to my face! And it will probably last for days because of the half life till I be able to get an erection again.

Most of you would not belive it but other men are posting on forums having the same problem. You guys that never have it, belive me, I know you doubt it, I were like you all. I would never imagine this can happen. It doens't seem logical that men on TRT would have ED and you guys could have it some day too. We still don't know what is causing it in us after some time and we are struggling to understand without sucess. It needs to be discussed seriously.

Dude I believe you. Many don't do well on lots of T or even moderate T. Try the nasal gel or troches. Lots discussed on here.

Would not get too caught up on just testosterone!

*The male sexual response cycle is complex and the exact role of testosterone in mediating libido, arousal, erection, ejaculation, and orgasm is multifactorial

*Male sexual function involves a complex interplay between hormonal, anatomic, and neuropsychologic functions and mediators.

*For men, the corresponding physiologic processes to the sexual response cycle are libido and sexual desire, arousal and erection, and ejaculation and orgasm. These physiologic functions are mediated by central and peripheral nervous system pathways, end-organ motor and sensory mechanisms, and molecular signaling pathways of the vascular system.

*ED is typically classified as psychogenic or organic.22 The pathogenesis of ED is multifactorial and can involve multiple underlying disturbances, including vasculogenic, neurogenic, hormonal, and/or medication-induced.

@Systemlord thanks for the indication. I already have Cialis here but I still want to resolve my problem before trying it. Let me ask you. Do you use it chronically, like daily? Do you know if it loose effect long term? I would like to try it but don't want to create an tolerance.

@tareload thanks for the indication! I am already searching about gel or cream. It will be my next bet! I hope it can help. It seems like an estrogen/low shbg problem in my case.

@madman thanks! I am reading all of this now. But as you can see in my posts, my problem is hormonal related to testosterone use. It just happens to me while I inject it. Arimidex seems to help and staying off TRT too. It's probably a low SHBG thing (mine is low) shotting my free T and estrogen. Still trying to figure out a good protocol. I don't have depression or other health/vascular problems also. It's just this.

The tech at the Blood Donation Center was talking to me about TRT. He was singing it's praises on high. Didn't ask him his dosages but he said that he gets it from his primary care doc, not a specialist. He has a super primitive protocol of one injection per week. No AI, no HCG. He's not on any forums trying to figure it out. Not encumbered by overthinking. Just enjoying.

Do you use it chronically, like daily?
Yes, 7 mg daily. If I miss a day, I start losing effectiveness of Cialis. Cialis has many health benefits beyond its intended purpose. All of the health benefits of Cialis, you should be on it anyway.
Do you know if it loose effect long term?
The reasons Cialis would stop working is low nitric oxide in the body, or low iron, other deficiencies or a worsening of your original underlining medical problems that lead to needing TRT, Cialis.

Yeah, I was like him for 4 years. Never used AI or HCH. Only Testosterone. Everything was good. But now am here because I am having problems. Don't think I am here because of psychological problem as I stated, it's hormonal. I would like to never had a problem but here I am...

What beneficts are you having with Cialis use?
Diabetes control, Cialis treats diabetic neuropathy and many other things. Cialis enhances nitric oxide effects, type 2 diabetics have decrease nitric oxide production, so enhancing it’s effects are greatly needed.

I had issues on TRT in isolation that I couldn’t resolve without Cialis. I have greatly increased energy from Cialis, day time fatigue and sleepiness are gone.

damn i wish i could get past the side effects, tried so many times but it's just too much, as a prediabetic those effects would be welcome. Cialis is also a mild AI.

This needs to be stressed.

As we have stated numerous times on the forum testosterone is just a piece of the pie!

ED/libido.....MULTIFACTORIAL!

To prove that the problem is TRT, you have to stop it for several months. Starting/stopping for a a few weeks creates transient effects while the brain neuroreceptors adjust to the new sudden levels of T. The "honemoon period" when you start TRT is an example of such a transient effect.

If you have normal free testosterone without TRT, better is not to mess with it just to get "optimized". You can be healthy and sexy without TRT and without being a bodybuilder. Don't fix something that isn't broken.

This topic of ED is discussed all the time. If TRT doesn’t resolve all your symptoms, mainly ED, Cialis and Viagra may be needed. PT-141 and Trimix are other options.
This is about TRT causing ED. Not whether or not TRT will fix ED. I posted a similar thread a while back. Even with Low T, my erections and libido were solid. Not until years on TRT did they diminish. We're still missing a piece of the puzzle for some of us. Just like the original post, my erection quality sucks on TRT without anastrozole. If I stop injecting for a couple weeks, erection quality seems to increase as well.

I think it is one of the side effects of the medication. I remember reading this on the back of the medicine packet from the pharmacy. I experience it to , better erection quality off TRT. I use cialas and viagra now but they help a lot though.
