Daily Injections of Testosterone

After I injected today and pulled out the needle, blood sprayed out. It's the first time that ever happened for me. I guess, I went though a vein.

LOL
I usually inject in thigh.........that happened to me recently..........I sorta jumped as it was unexpected, but thought wow, if i was squeemish about blood that could have been a problem.

What was slightly uncomfortable was to be injecting in the thigh, and the quad to involuntarily contract, I could feel the needle being dragged along muscle fiber.....

Vince as vascular as you are I can't believe you did not see that vein so you could miss it. HaHa just kidding about the seeing part.

I have read posting on blood spraying out after injecting, so I was not concerned. That's the nice thing about ExcelMale, all the good information we receive.
Today was the first day (ever) I injected in my thigh, went good.

With regards to hitting a vein: Is there a concern when this happens that the testosterone dose for that injection is inferior? I'm wondering if the injected dose is carried away with the lost blood.

On a daily protocol one missed dose is not worth worrying about. Should it happen on a protocol that features fewer weekly injections it would still be best to not worry - simply inject again on your next scheduled day. You don't want to potentially double your dose. We're running a marathon when we're on TRT.

If you get Cyp, in a vein/artery, you're going to know it. There'll be no guessing involved. sometimes with SQ guys will report that they think they saw oil leak at the injection site, important to apply plressure on the site and rub for a few seconds to avoid the (very slim) possibility of site leakage.

I didn't inject in a vein, the oil would have pooled in my lung. The blood only sprayed out.

Understanding Your Hormones

Estradiol (E2)

A form of estrogen produced from testosterone. Important for bone health, mood, and libido. Too high can cause side effects; too low can affect well-being.

DHT

Dihydrotestosterone is a potent androgen derived from testosterone. Affects hair growth, prostate health, and masculinization effects.

Free Testosterone

The biologically active form of testosterone not bound to proteins. Directly available for cellular uptake and biological effects.
