A bit frustrated right now after my first appointment...

So, I booked an appointment with Mens Health Boston. Went there. They took my bloodwork and I had a T count of 350 (found this out after a few days after the appointment).

When I met with the doctor, he didn't seem to be very interested in helping me out... I described my symptoms, how I felt, mentioned the book by Abraham Morgentaler, etc. He just sat down and said something along the lines of "Well, we'll see... even if you do get extra T, it will take at least 3 months for you to start seeing results..." This surprised me. Does it really take 3 months before I start seeing results with the gel/cream?

Also, I'm a bit surprised that he was so indifferent/uninterested in prescribing a Testosterone supplement. Am I missing something or could I have said/done something better in order to better get my message across?

In about two weeks I will have a second appointment and I'm curious what recommendations you have for me so that I could better get my message across?

Also, what are some online options to get reasonably (and safe) priced Testosterone gel/cream? If I go with this option, can insurance cover this (I'm expecting that this will not be the case)?
