TRT Dose question

It's looking ok so far. The most recent measurement was 29 pg/mL taken about six weeks after dropping to these trivial doses of exogenous testosterone. Still a decent drop from the 40-60 it had been running previously. If anything I might be concerned about the E2/T ratio being high. The question is whether a good ratio at peak levels is more important than what's happening at the troughs.

Yes, that "native T" stuff is just marketing. In principle TNE is all-encompassing for injectables—but then you need to specify oil or water base, and suspension or solution.
I am thankful that with cialas or viagra I am able to perform even if function is not all the way there without. Due to dosing factors possibly. My libido is pretty much there most all the time

Cialas/viagra targets ED - i.e., the mechanical aspect. Whereas lack of libido refers to no interest in sex - i.e., the mental piece. You can have one without the other.

I think interference with libido and sexual function by exogenous androgens is much more common than people think, even if not as dramatic as in your case. This was driven home to me by recent experiments in which a difference of 0.3 mg in the daily dose of testosterone made a very large difference. I couldn't even believe this result until I repeated it. The circumstances are unique, so I'm certainly not suggesting that the average guy on TRT would be so sensitive to minuscule changes. But I think it supports the general principle of using exogenous androgens judiciously.
This makes me feel it's not in my head. I have lowered doses that don't seem like much but have profound all around effects (most negative to combat the sleeping issue). Since it is Test Cyp I thought changes would be smooth but that is not the case. I figured the longer the ester the transition would be easier. If I wouldn't have been on cream at first and felt great until absorption issues I'd still be on it. However, you are getting peaks and troughs much greater than when on Test Cyp? Why would that be less tramatic than Test Cyp changes? That is why going to daily shots and a shorter ester or TNE scares me getting over the hump of another change. I decided if I can stay on 42 mg/wk and feel better I need some consistency before I change protocols. It seems due to a bad compounded (expired) I have been in flux for months off and on and it's devastating physcially and mentally.

Same exact experience here. At top of range, I have sub-zero libido if that is possible (at least pre-TRT I have occasional flashes). I have mid-high SHBG of 40-45

I continue to be jealous of guys who experience raging libido at supraphysiologic levels. If only...
Yeah anything above like 900ng it’s like I’ve been castrated.

Understanding Your Hormones

Estradiol (E2)

A form of estrogen produced from testosterone. Important for bone health, mood, and libido. Too high can cause side effects; too low can affect well-being.

DHT

Dihydrotestosterone is a potent androgen derived from testosterone. Affects hair growth, prostate health, and masculinization effects.

Free Testosterone

The biologically active form of testosterone not bound to proteins. Directly available for cellular uptake and biological effects.
