Help! I spilled test

I was doing my shot and the cap came off my syringe and testosterone cypyionate came dripping down my arm. I wouldn’t be concerned except I have a blood test next week and they are gonna draw over where the testosterone spilled. Will this falsely elevate results or show up as test? (LCMS assay)

Do you have two arms? If so, use the other arm.

I can tell you that I had a fingerprick blood draw which put me at 7579 ng/dl just from having used testogel (obviously still on my hands even though I'd washed them).

Though using my fingers to rub in testogel on a daily basis is much different to spilling a little ester on your arm once.

Now I’m curious if it would have any effect on results though. I’m gonna use the other arm but would it get read in the test if I didn’t?

That’s why I’m kinda curious cause I read where finger prick results got elevated cause cyp somehow got trapped in the tips weeks later. If I showered would I be fine to use either arm or could it get trapped under the skin?

A fingerprick is blood dripping off of your finger. A blood draw is them sucking blood out of your vein with a needle that is a fraction of a millimeter in diameter.

Sounds like an excuse lance armstrong would use. “See last week my friend spilled testosterone oil on my arm then when I got a blood draw...”.

Haha so I got nothing to worry about if I were to use the arm? It wouldn’t elevate at all?

The only time one need be concerned is when using transdermal gels/creams where they have applied along the forearms and get some of the gel on the antecubital fossa area because on the morning of the blood draw the testosterone needs to be applied 2 hours prior in order to test accurately as we want to know the peak levels and by chance if you did not wash off the residue before getting blood work done than results could be skewed.

It’s ridiculous all around. Anyway, in a finger prick the blood makes contact with your skin. You are not doing a finger prick. Who tests testosterone via finger prick anyway?

Clearly you’re worried about this ridiculous scenario so if we can’t convince you, just use the other arm like others have said.

Edit: I just read the reddit thread you mentioned. I will just say that I'm terrified for you if you're taking advice from there.
