Help Make Sense of Test Results

I just got very strange test results that I don't understand.
On 10/8/19, I had 1538.1 ng/dl and had just taken my shot of 100 ng/dl on 10/5
On 9/30/19, I had 102.8 ng/dl and had not taken any testosterone for 2 weeks.
On 7/23/18 I had 171.5 ng/dl and had done my shot of 50 ng/dl within 1 week.
On 8/30/17 I had 838.7 ng/dl (but was getting testosterone from Defy)
On 11/16/15 I had 68.5 and had done my shot of 50 ng/dl within 1 week.
On 1/27/15 I had 74.5 and had done my shot of 50 ng/dl within 1 week.
My initial results aren't listed, but they were at the low end of the normal range when I started.

I have regularly tested low on T and I have been on TRT for since 12/14. Even so, my results have been low every time except the one time I was with Defy and this latest time.

This doesn't help my case that I need to increase my dosage.

All of my CBC levels were perfect
In my Lipid panel:
Total Cholesterol: 154,
Triglyceride-Serum: 86
Cholesterol, Hdl measured: 54
Cholesterol, Ldl-calculated: 83
Total non-Hdl calculated: 100

In my metabolic panel:
Everything was normal except:
Glucose-casual Serum: 68
Osmo, calculated:273
Calcium:8.7
Calcium-Albumin adjusted:8.7
Bilirubin, total-serum:0.3

I have been HIV Positive since 4/90 and have been undetectable for 3 years.

Can someone give me some idea about what is happening? Thanks in advance.

Inconsistent dosing and testing I imagine are the culprit, you didn't write in some detail but that's what I think, it's this dose at this time and then it's another dose and then two weeks later. You'll never have consistent results that way. Consistency, over time, you have to have that component to this.

I see where you are coming from and thanks for your reply. It's important to note that I started at 100/2 weeks at the very beginning. Then I switched to 50/week and stayed there until I went to Defy. After Defy, I went back to 50/week until my prescription ran out and had to wait 2 weeks. So while it may seem inconsistent, it's just because I lumped the results over 4 years together.

My big question is how can a small dose of 100mg/dl cause my testosterone to go from 100 to 1500 in 3 days. Am I just super-sensitive to testosterone? Because when I am low, I almost can't function--like nearly wet the bed because I have so little energy I struggle to get up.

My doctor claims that I have the primary type of hypogonadism that comes from testicular malfunction, but my FSH LH and Prolactin levels are all normal even though my testosterone at the same time was 69.5.

Any other ideas?

Understanding Your Hormones

Estradiol (E2)

A form of estrogen produced from testosterone. Important for bone health, mood, and libido. Too high can cause side effects; too low can affect well-being.

The biologically active form of testosterone not bound to proteins. Directly available for cellular uptake and biological effects.
