Yeah I've heard multiple shots a week are almost always better because you keep a more even baseline of test in your body. Some people have had perfectly good success once a week since it is a 8 day half life

I had gone off of memory earlier so my numbers were slightly different but I have them pulled up now from labcorp:

Total test: 291 (264-916) Not low by labcorp but low by endocrine society under 300
LH: 2.2 (1.7-8.6) on the low side
Prolactin: 5.1 (4.0-15.2)
Estradiol: 6.4 (7.6- 42.6) low
SHBG: 32 (16.5-55.9)
free test: 5.8 (9-30) very low
TSH: .472 (.450- 4.500)

I had a variety of lipids, CBC, CMP....everything else came back pretty well within range..

Don't you think your total T could be higher as well as Estradiol?

I am pretty new to all the HRT/TRT stuff but I frequent several forums, pict the brains of guys I feel know what's going on via PMs and read daily on the subject for the past 14 months. Something I have noticed is the 20/30 somethings going on TRT seem to have a lot more issues with the bad side effects of injecting T vs the 50+ group. For us it's a true fountain of youth to them its mood swings, greasy hair and back-acne.

I can see why many of the young fellows here and other forums question whether it is all worth it. Especially when they find TRT lvls just bring you back to normal and don't do much for you in the gym. Then lets not even consider cost of drugs blood tests and supplies for the next 30 to 40 years. I don't envy you fellows at all. You have one tough journey ahead of you.

I feel feel the same way as FL. I still think you wait, if you can. I just think that too many young guys substitute TRT for depression treatment and psychosocial changes that could be made before they flip the TRT card. It is safer, and less anxiety provoking if you are older, have some stability in your life looking to get your mojo back. Get a mojo first, and when you lose it, get it back with TRT and lifestyle.

I'm 45... Muscular, but started to feel weak in the gym, extremely fatigued got my test labs at 249, 376, 367 I know that is low for a guy my age, but I am just not sure about this TRT thing... I think it is great. I just don't like the idea of being on testerone for the next 30 years. I'm at a crossroads. I am still doing my protocol, but just don't know.

If I were you I would definitely go for it. I'm 29 years old and trying it.....if my test scores weren't consistently in the gutter and I didn't feel the way I do I wouldn't even consider it but it seems like the utmost importance to control our hormones and get the most out of life. Trust me, you aren't alone in the way you feel but I would at least give it a shot if you've come this far. I'm right there with you man.

I’m 38, started illegally for bodybuilding at 18. There’s a whole other world for bodybuilding drugs and dosages. First cycle was 200mg/week of test cyp. Worked up to 500-700mg/week on/off for about 8 years. Most I ever did was 2000mg/week (1000mg test/600 deca/400 Dbol pills). There was never labs.

Surprisingly, water retention maxed out at 400mg/week. Any extra bloat was from diet. I was in the Navy from 32-36 years old and didn’t want to look juiced so I did 300-400/week most of the time. I was a Cath Lab RN and let the various students practice echocardiograms on me all the time. No structural changes. I’ve had urinary frequency since high school so my prostate was checked before starting ditropan for that. It was fine.
Finally started TRT 4 months ago. I’ve never used HCG long term and the 500 2x/week caused 8lbs of water retention. All I take now is 200mg test split into 3 shots subQ and .15mg arimidex with each dose.
I’ve never had a libido or erection issue but that statement makes my next comment sound stupid. I used a lot of the liquid research chemicals over the years and love Cialis so I’ve been taking 5mg daily. I rationalize it as good for blood pressure.

If you're not comfortable with sharing or posting your history then dont.

Private messages do not help members seeking medical information. You will find that pretty much everything and anything is open for discussion on this website. Everybody is looking for something that is lacking in their life. It is the most candid and honest discussion amongst men I have ever seen.

Honestly I don`t get your message. We are in a forum and seeking information, if you are here, I don`t get why you just throw in 5% of the info. Please don`t. Sorry if I seem harsh but this is slightly frustrating as we don`t have time to PM every single member that has something to say, PLUS you are a very interesting case because it is quite rare to see someone that long on TRT.

Either you say it all or just don`t.
