Too hot to sleep on workout days on Sustanon

A couple of months ago I made the switch from cypionate to sustanon, doing 10mg a day. I have also started going to the gym again. I'm finding that on workout days I overheat in the evening and struggle to fall asleep. I don't have this problem as badly when I go for a run. I haven't done an updated blood test on sustanon yet so don't have numbers available. I have read anecdotes on sustanon increasing DHT. Another thing is that I have started creatine which boosts DHT, so I'm wondering if that could be related. I also have fairly high hematocrit, 55 with less water, 50 when very well hydrated. Any inputs on what may cause would be appreciated.

It’s not DHT causing your issues. Member‘s on topicals have seen DHT at 5000+ and have no symptoms at all. I workout every day, so in the evening I’m starting the process of recovery as my body, metabolic processes is winding down, which has me thinking it could be high cortisol from working out keeping you up.

You should start the process of illumination, reduce or stop the creatine.

It wouldn’t hurt to check cortisol levels, preferably before a workout.

Testosterone and androgens in general increase thyroid hormone uptake. This causes an increase in body temperature specially when working out.
I've stopped taking creatine and cialis but still getting this pretty badly. Even on non workout days I'm getting this, it seems the longer I've been on sustanon the worse it has gotten. I'm do daily shots and it gets markedly worse at night, which I presume correlates with when the medication is peaking (from IM injection)? The feeling is this body heat that is very deep and feels like it's coming from my stomach. I saw a couple of anecdotes where people get this sensation on tren.

It's incredibly frustrating as I switched to sustanon after getting heart thumping issues on cypionate (which I suspect is from benzyl benzoate). Seems like there always has to be a problem on TRT!

When I used to get monthly phlebotomies, I would get intense hot flashes and stomach pain, bloating from iron loss. My body was always way too hot!

That’s because low ferritin, iron makes it difficult for the body to regulate it’s temperature.

I would check your ferritin and iron saturation.

I believe this could be it, just because there is a strong mental restlessness effect I get when hot. On another forum someone said that the symptoms sounded similar to when they overdosed on T4. Lowering dose isn't an option as I am already on the minimum effective dose. I am now wondering if there are any supplements I could try to lower thyroid on workout days. So far I have seen Vitamin A and Lemon Balm been discussed as potential anti thyroid supplements. Do you know any other things I could try?

Make sure you get the units of measure right. It may be 5000 but that would be a picograms per milliliter which correlates to 500 ng/dL. Yes, a lot of men have DHT levels 500 and more (5000 and more pg/ml) but those levels have absolutely nothing to do with what's going on at the cellular level because DHT sensitive tissues have a very tightly controlled intracellular concentration. What men measure in the serum is nothing but excess

Your high hematocrit shows your T dose is high for you. The only reasonable thing to do is to decrease the T dose, if your heat is related to TRT at all.

It never works to overdose on a drug and then try to suppress the side effects with another drug which invariably has side effects on its own. Anti-thyroid substances are definitely not to mess with, instead of decreasing the Testosterone, which would address the root cause - again if it is really the TRT.
