Is 420mg /week of Test Too High?

I'm 53 with test currently around 350. Is there any downside or side effects to a dosage this high? I plan on doing it sub q morning and evening everyday to keep my levels constant. Any thoughts anyone?

Almost 6 years on ExcelMale and these are your questions?!

Typically 200 mg per week puts men’s testosterone supraphysiological for most of the week, 420 mg is not TRT but is a cycle.

There’s no way to predict how you will respond to androgens, and baseline levels are irrelevant in determining what your dosage should be for TRT.

A 100 mg weekly dosage will get the majority of men to mid normal or high normal Total T and Free T levels. Injecting cypionate twice daily is pointless, daily will maintain near flat hormone profile. The only reason you should want to inject frequently is to alleviate symptoms.

Also, not everyone is going to need or feel good with constant levels. It took me 5 years to figure out that near constant levels was causing all my problems. My body wants the hormones swinging wildly.

Of course, there is, and such does would never be used/prescribed for TRT.

Look into the PKs of TC/TE (most commonly used esters) and you will see why injecting twice daily makes no sense.
