Hey guys,
I restarted TRT after a break of a few months due to circumstances. My protocol was a weekly injection. The break was a cold-turkey stop. During that time my levels tanked to TT 140 / FT 8.5 / E 12.
I've been back on since August but the only value I got back from testing was TT at 693. My previous tests on treatment normally came back a little higher than this and with E values around 8.
My doctor was open to upping my dosage which I now split into a bi-weekly injection schedule. It has been a bit over 4 weeks and I am wondering:
Is it too soon to test at this higher dose?
I know relying on previous values is not ideal, so I'm eager to get bloodwork to see where I am. My doctor told me to test the day before my next injection due to my bi-weekly dosing schedule. I plan on testing through discountedlabs from now on to ensure that at a minimum my TT, FT, and E values are tested. With the added benefit of directly receiving my labwork, I'm eager to get going.
