So I don’t have a family doctor. If I get really sick I just take my butt to an immediate care clinic. After receiving my blood work for the first time I can remember in 30 years, I’d like to find a local primary care physician while I work with Defy who I can go to for things outside of their scope (phlebotomies, cardiovascular stuff, physicals, etc)..
Do I just schedule an appointment , go in to meet them see if we gel, then show them my blood panel paperwork explaining what I said above?
Reading a lot of posts from this forum has me jaded, believing 99% of doctors are either in it for the money (prescribing pellets and gel), prehistoric (500mg monthly), or just scared (telling me my 275ng/ml TT is normal for a guy at 30)..
My out of pocket deductible is pretty high and I’m not sure what the first meeting with a new prospective doctor entails. What should I do?
