Getting ready to stop TRT.... What do I need to know?

I tried Cpap and I lasted maybe a week.... Maybe I need to see a neurologist....
I'd agree. Talk with your primary and hopefully you will be directed to someone who's sharp. You know, already, that just because someone is a specialist it doesn't mean they know more than what they learned in their residency. I've interacted with so many clueless doctors. I tell my wife that if I know more than a doctor, I need to find someone else. Stay on it. It's your life.

One could try GABA inducers like 5-10g L-Glutamine in a cup of water before bed. It doesn't force falling asleep like Ambien but seems to relax the body and once you fall asleep, you sleep deeper and more restful.

Other GABA inducers are NAC or a low dose Glycine. The high dose Glycine seems to prevent sleep so it is not a good starting one.

GABA inducers increase the production of GABA. They all work in my case but suppress the ability to orgasm so I am always deciding between sleep or sexuality.

Have you added pregnenolone/progesterone before bed as you stated in the OP?

Yes, Progesterone cream 20mg eod at night before bed...

Progesterone

0.76 ng/mL

0.28 - 1.22 ng/mL

however, I also have added pregnenelone so that could have contributed to the my progesterone levels....
