Bromantane experiences ?

Has anyone tried bromantane? Supposedly it is an "atypical stimulant" that "doesn't cause over-stimulation". What was your dose, for long you took it, and what was your experience?

The Russian research on it reads like typical fairy-tales. It's so great supposedly, that they stopped producing it in 2018 (brand name Ladasten), and the current sources are sketchy.

Four years on, did you end up trying this @sammmy ? I've got some on the way to me, in nasal spray form.

I see that Nootropic Source has the powdered form—in case anyone is looking for a pretty reliable source. A dosing summary from Grok:

Typical oral doses for bromantane powder range from 50–100 mg per day, often taken once in the morning to avoid potential insomnia. A lower starting dose of 25 mg is sometimes recommended for beginners to assess tolerance. Clinical use in Russia (e.g., for asthenia or chronic fatigue) typically involves 50 mg daily after breakfast for 28 days, which may be repeated as needed. For nootropic or performance-enhancing purposes, users often mix the powder with a fat source (e.g., oil or food) to improve absorption, and cycle it (e.g., 4–6 weeks on followed by 2–4 weeks off) to prevent tolerance. Doses above 200 mg have been associated with adverse effects like sedation in self-reports and animal studies. Note that bromantane is not approved by the FDA and should be approached with caution; consult a healthcare professional before use.

Have you tried bromantane in any form @Cataceous ? If so, what's your opinion of it?
