Intuiv aka Guanfacine??????? Non-stimulant ADHD dopamine agonist

I was talking to my doctor about lack of motivation due to no available stimulants to get me going hard in the gym... I have taken Modafinil in the past but it took about 300 to 400 mg's to get an effect which felt like old-school ephedra but I'd end up awake for a few days... and then it stopped working unless I went a lot higher which I wasn't going to do... Caffeine doesn't really help with motivation anymore.. so my doc gave me Intuiv aka Guanfacine which is supposed to be a non-stimulant dopamine agonist usually for ADHD people... however with the supposed increase in dopamine the side effects from what I have been reading from a lot of reviews are drowsiness, etc... Has anyone had any experience with this? or any recommendations for a CNS stimulant..
