Have been on TRT 15 years. Current protocol 84mg/ml test cyp weekly, 700 iu HCG weekly Same dosage approximately last 3 years. Within the last 6 months have noticed a definite amount of hair loss and thinning. No noticeable life changes or increased stress level. Up until now I have had more than a full head of hair. Age 54. So my question is could my hair just now be being affected by TRT? Would a DHT test help? If not the TRT then any other things I should consider? I was adopted so looking at father. grandfather not sn option.

No, hair loss is genetics. If TRT was going to accelerate hair loss, it would have started 15 years ago.

The only thing that's going to help is accepting the hair loss.

As for DHT test, it doesn't exists. DHT is metabolite of testosterone.

DHT is the contributor to hair loss. If my hair started thinning considerably I would just shave my head.

You could do a lab test to check if your hormone levels have changed.
And there are other types of hair loss independent of DHT.
