HCG Questions

Hi There

I started TRT back in July. Originally started with Test Cyp (100mg / week) and HCG (1000iu / week).

When I first started I had issues regarding water retention, shortness of breath, etc. I think a lot of this was due to my body settling.

In late August/early Sep, I dropped the HCG. I've been on only Test Cyp (100mg p week, 2x50mg every 3.5 days).

I now feel absolutely perfect. I have no water retention issues, no shortness of breath or heart palpitations. I feel generally in very good health. I've even stopped experiencing hairloss. I know a lot of this has nothing to do with HCG and is more to do with me finally settling into a rhythm.

The questions:

  • I want to remain fertile. Can I just resume HCG to get things going again? I have seen testicular shrinkage for sure. I don't want kids now but I'd rather play safe and keep doing HCG to ensure I don't lose fertility
  • Am I at risk of losing fertility having been off HCG since September, or is this very unlikely?
  • I know I will need to re-adjust to HCG, but have others experienced symptoms such as water retention etc? If so, do they dissipate with time (once dialed into a new routine) or are these constant side effects of HCG?
  • I have two vials of unmixed HCG (powder form) and the requisite water which I bought in September. Are these still good to use? Have been kept in a cool dark place.

Thank you in advance!!

Sorry not to bump but just to get to the crux of it

I know I need to restart HCG to remain fertile but I'm nervous of experiencing all the bad side effects now that I finally feel dialed in

Im also worried that being off HCG for the last two months or so could have caused irreparable damage to my fertility. Is this a realistic possibility or am I being paranoid?

Any replies would be greatly appreciated.

  • Tengo dos viales de HCG sin mezclar (polvo) y el agua necesaria que compré en septiembre. ¿Todavía son buenos para usar? Han sido mantenidos en un lugar fresco y oscuro.

¡¡Gracias de antemano!! [/CITAR] water bacteriostatic to hcg?

Start with a lower dose, 100 IU twice a week. See if you have any issues and if not, you can slowly increase to a higher dose. I would go slow, some members have issues with HCG.

Thank you for the reply sir.

Am I being paranoid by thinking that being on TRT without HCG since september will have done irreparable damage to my fertility?

If possible i'd like to start HCG in January, after the holidays. Im travelling a lot and would not like to introduce something new during a fairly chaotic time.

a couple of months is nothing to worry about. Restart with as my friend Vince said, 100iu twice per week and judge your tolerance for it.

I agree with your plan to wait till after the holidays. Waiting, wouldn't hurt or do any damage to your fertility.
