I am 37 years old. I have had blood clot issues in the past and I am currently on blood thinners life long. I have struggled with hormone issues for a long time. Due to false information I stayed away from TRT. Mainly the myth that you go sterile when you do TRT. I have had levels from 74 to 123 on the high side of free test. These were during clomid therapy. I was on 2 25 mg everyweek then 50 mg 2 on 1 off. Currently I am at 50 mg 5 on 2 off. I have not noticed much of a different except SOME muscle definition returned for a short time. The lows when I was off was 6 to 15 free test. The highest total I have had was 509 and lowest was 200.
I got the go ahead from my hemotoligist to do TRT. I decide not to go to my urologist. He is a great doctor but did not want to discuss all the aspects of TRT. I was lucky to have heard a commercial on the radio and went today. I was blown away by the time they took to discuss test. How it works and then how therapy goes. They use a three prong approach using blockers, hcg, and test esters. They did a full body composition. I was surprise at how high my fat was. I have been trying to get motivate enough to get to my 3 to 4 days a week but some days getting out of bed is hard enough much less going to the gym.
I guess I am just looking for some real life experience and what I should expect. They said that they will take you as high as they can safely do so based on age and lifestyle. As far as my symptoms I have most of them. Extreme fatigue, low libido (really non existent), sleeping issue (even after sleep apenia surgery), difficulty achieving and maintaining an erection, increased body fat, decreased muscle, terrible mood swings, and pretty bad depression. And the btain fog is very bad. What I hope to achieve is a more active life. One where I can get out of bed and do something rather than watching TV on my days off. Any advice or imformation is greatly appreciated.
