TRT lowers SHBG

My TRT SHBG is 16 which is kinda low. I've read TRT lowers SHBG, but by how much? Is is possible my natural SHBG is around 16? I don't have bloodwork that measured SHBG pre TRT

The decrease in SHBG on TRT is going to be different for everyone.

Your pre-TRT SHBG was probably in the mid to high 20's and maybe even low 30's from what I've seen over the years of various members.

I'm low shbg and trt doesn't drop it much, 4-5 points

If anything my SHBG increases on TRT, pre-TRT SHBG levels was 11 and is now 17 and climbing.

Diabetics are the exception, since the diabetes is suppressing the SHBG, lowering the glucose levels and improving, reversing the diabetes allows SHBG to increase.
