The significance of selegiline/(-)-deprenyl after 50 years in research and therapy (1965-2015)

Yes sir. This is a lifetime protocol for me.
Ya I remember u saying that u made the decision to take it indefinitely. Since the last time u talked about it on here, have u tried upping ur dose, and/ or taking it sublingually? And I forget, do u take the 5mg orally upon waking, or with food? TIA

Hey @Gman86 , are you still taking Selegiline? How did you get your doctor to prescribe it?
How would one Selegiline down to 1mg from 5mg? What kind of solution would I use to do volumetric dosing?
I cut the pills in half. They are quite small but they could be cut again with a pill splitter but I am fine with the 2.5 mg dose, at least in theory since I don't feel anything similar to Gman.

I'm going to try 2.5 mg orally again now that I'm old enough for it to make sense (almost 45). ChatGPT keeps telling me to try it for various reasons. Started today. I'll let you know how it turns out.

Took 2.5 mg yesterday morning. Felt overstimulated in the first part of the day, mediocre in the afternoon, completely crashed in the evening. Didn't want to repeat that today. Going to shelve the idea for now.

No, I'm caffeine-free. I would guess it was the amphetamine metabolites causing most of the noticeable effects, as I took one sublingual dose some months ago and didn't really feel anything noticeable at all.
Interesting that it affected you so strongly. It may be worth another shot, might have been a one off.
