Hello,

I'm writing this post to gather opinion and insight from others on a similar path. I've been prescribed Testosterone for two years. Due to various reasons, adding Nandrolone Decanoate as an adjunct has been suggested by my provider. Although I will follow my doctors advice, I wonder how others who are using these two medications are dosing them together. Specifically, frequency, strength, dose ratio, and any experiences worth mentioning.

Any comment is appreciated,

When it comes to nandrolone, the anecdotes are gonna be kind of all over the place. I’ve used it for probably like 5 years now, in all sorts of ratios with test and all sorts of dosages. I seem to do well on it. Currently using it as my base. So I use mostly nandrolone, and a little bit of test to boost E2 up a bit. If you work out hard, it’s great. I take 200 test 100 deca. I’ve experienced no sides only benefits.


THE NEXT TWO ARENT USING HRT DOSAGES, BUT I THINK THEIR ANECDOTES ARE STILL HELPFUL. CAN AT LEAST TAKE AWAY THE RATIOS THEY’RE USING

I am prescribed 200mg testosterone cypionate and 200mg nandrolone decanoate per week. I have put thousands of people on a testosterone/nandrolone blend, always to fantastic results. Once I put people on a testosterone/nandrolone blend, I have never had anyone tell me they didn’t like the nandrolone and they wanted to stop taking it, nor are there any adverse health effects from moderate nandrolone use. Nandrolone is highly stigmatized, but is a very beneficial compound.

Currently on 200/mg TEST-C per week. Have had lingering shoulder and knee pain for a long time. Starting micro dosing NPP at 100mg/wk and have progressively moved up to 200mg which is a 1:1 with Test. No negative side effects. 100% healed in joint pain during normal daily activities and cardio. 95% of the pain experienced during weight lifting is gone. On week 5 of protocol. Have enough to run 16 wks. Strength is up ~20%. I'm just part of the group that doesn't experience sides, in fact I have increased libido on nandrolone.

Thanks for the reply, and especially for the anecdotes. You are right, they are all over the place, which is to be expected given the wide range of ratios people are using. It has been suggested by my provider that I use .12 Ml of 200 mg Nandrolone three times a week, on top of my daily Testosterone shot of .10 ml. (To be slightly reduced if pairing with Nandrolone).

I watched a video from Nelson V. in which he mentions a 2:1 ratio. Test being the 2 and 1 being the Nandrolone. According to him, this ratio tends to greatly reduce any of the stereotyped side effects from using Nandrolone.
 
Ya so about 140mg test/ week, and about 75mg of deca/ week. I’d say that’s a pretty good ratio to start. That’s basically exactly what Dr Rutterbusch see’s success with, when he adds deca to his patient’s protocols. I’ll link the vid below where he talks about having his patients on pretty much those exact same dosages. It will be the first link below this. I’ll also link another vid where Dr rutterbusch talks about deca. I’ll also link a couple vids where Dr Carlson talks about deca. He was a big proponent of it. I say was, because I’m pretty sure he passed away. I’ll also link a couple vids where Dr Lichten talks about deca. He was actually one of, if not the first doctor that started using deca therapeutically with his patients. He’s a huge proponent of it. All the vids are worth watching. Hopefully u can check them out when u have time

I have been using testosterone and nandrolone at a 2:1 ratio for two years. I do six hours of resistance training each week and have no joint issues or pain. I am 70 years old, 5'9", 182 pounds, and 7.8% body tat.
 
I like the above and would love to try it. At what point would you need an AI or Nolvadex if at all? I keep hearing there is a risk of LVH, or is that just with higher doses? Sorry for all the questions and I realize the answers are here in this forum, but figured I'd ask here..
 
@George9 That is quite impressive. It reads as if you have been using both medications consistently for two years straight. Am I understanding correctly? May I ask how you choose to administer your shots? Daily, weekly etc? It was suggested that one could draw both medications into the same shot and inject once, although that doesn't seem like the best idea.

My provider has suggested that I maintain my daily Testosterone dose and simply incorporate the Nandrolone 3 times a week.

@USMC I'm guessing that the use of an AI, if at all, would depend if merited by symptoms and then confirmed by labs. I'll be meeting with my provider in a week, so I'll be sure to ask.

I started using testosterone cypionate seven years ago and nandrolone decanoate two years ago. I inject 40 mg (0.2 mL) testosterone and 20 mg (0.1 mL) nandrolone daily in one insulin syringe with 1/2" needle. I inject IM in my quads, glutes, and delts. Except for Armour Thyroid and 5 mg tadalafil daily, I do not take any other hormones or medications. My estradiol (sensitive method) was 61.2 pg/mL three weeks ago. I measure my blood pressure daily and the average for the past two weeks was 111/67, which is typical. My hemoglobin was 16.4 g/dL and hematocrit was 50.3% three weeks ago. I donate blood every 8 weeks and have donated regularly even before starting TRT.

The #1 cause of LVH is high blood pressure. I’m pretty sure the only reason nandrolone is associated with possibly causing LVH is due to nandrolone sometimes causing people’s blood pressure to rise. And if u look up LVH, the #1 way to resolve it is to get blood pressure in a healthy range. So im pretty sure as long as u keep ur blood pressure in a healthy range, while implementing nandrolone, LVH isn’t a concern

For reference, I’ve had nandrolone in my protocol for the past 5-6 years, either in addition to a test base, or using nandrolone as the base of my protocol, and have been able to maintain a healthy blood pressure the entire time. I’m a nurse, and have access to blood pressure machines everyday at work, so I check my blood pressure very often

So ur using 280mg of test cyp/ week, and 140mg of nandrolone/ week, is that correct?

U don’t get low iron levels donating every 2 months?

How are u feeling overall? Mood, energy, libido, sensitivity, erection wise?

How do u feel and function on test and nandrolone, compared to test solo? In regards to all the things I mentioned above

I think every bodybuilder should be on a basic ARB like losartan to make sure hypertension (and future left ventricular hypertrophy) is not a problem. Losartan also has other benefits.

Your dose numbers are correct.

I am on the carnivore diet and eat at least two pounds of beef and two ounces beef liver per day. I have had my ferritin checked and it is never low.

For my age my energy and sex life are very good. I never get depressed. I do strength training three days a week and will complete in a bodybuilding contest later this month. The past year I have walked more than 19,000 steps per day. Today I installed a trailer hitch on my Tesla Model 3.

In the beginning the nandrolone raised my hemoglobin so much that one blood center would not take my blood. Now my hemoglobin has returned to the pre-nandrolone levels. The only difference I am aware of nandrolone making is that my joints no longer ache, which was a major problem before.

My type of guy! Ur hitting all the boxes for me being a big fan lol. Obv love that u understand proper human nutrition. I try to stick as close to carnivore as I can. Just add in carbs, from sources like organic raw honey, fruit and organic white rice, for gym and muscle building purposes. Also love the fact ur weight training regularly, at ur age. I personally also do 3 days a week weight training. Would do more, but my life is pretty crazy atm. Got a wife, 2 kids at home, including a 5 month old, and have another son that I see about half the week. I also drive a Tesla model 3, so u get bonus points for that as well lol

How has being carnivore affected ur gym performance and putting on muscle?

I might look into donating more regularly. I eat red meat 3x per day, roughly 7-8oz each time. I do donate a few times per year, on average, and do the power red each time, but maybe I’ll donate a bit more often, and just do a regular donation each time. Do u just donate a pint each time u go?

So have u been using the 280 test and 140 nandrolone the whole time u’ve been using nandrolone? And do u plan on running this protocol indefinitely? Props to u btw for having the balls to be open about using so many androgens. I have zero problem with it, and cast zero judgment, but obv u know what some guys are gonna say/ think about it lol
 
Nandrolone is hit or miss for me. Strength gain is notable, reduction in both joint pain and general inflammation is amazing. It sometimes affects my mood by increasing depression and or hyper vigilance (I.e. suspicious of others). 19-nors seem to affect people's mood differently.

Thank you. It is good that you have a healthy diet while you are young and will avoid many health problems later. How do you like FSD? I love it and am looking forward to it getting better as I age and my driving skills diminish.

At age 63 I started injecting 100 mg testosterone cypionate once a week. The first year I gained 16 pounds muscle and lost 4 pounds fat, going from 193 pounds with 20% body fat to 205 pounds with 16% body fat. All body fat measurements are with a "dexa scan". I gradually increased to 280 mg/wk over the next five years and don't plan to go any higher so as to not increase my estradiol. I don't want to take an AI.

I started the carnivore diet five years ago when I was diagnosed as pre-diabetic. For my entire time as a carnivore my body fat has ranged from 6.1% to 7.8%. I can squat and deadlift more weight at age 70 and 182 pounds than I could at age 64 and 205 pounds.

I donate 500 grams whole blood at a time, which is about a pint. My wife eats very little red meat and has donated more than 20 gallons of blood without any problems. I have only donated 10 gallons.
