Testosterone and the Free Androgen Index

Does anyone use this index to evaluate dosing and efficacy of TRT? My doc does. Need more data to fully understand this.

Yes, I have read some references on the free androgen index. It makes some sense since it basically shows the percentage of total testosterone that is free or bound to albumin, which releases testosterone as the body needs it. However, I wish studies used this index instead of total testosterone, but most have not.
