Sliding scale

has anyone ever injected testosterone based on a sliding scale? diabetics will often inject insulin on a sliding scale based upon their daily blood glucose values, and their diet/exercise each day. what about injecting testosterone on a sliding scale based upon symptoms? after 5 years on the stuff i think I have a pretty good feel for when I'm too high on testosterone and estrogen (agitated, insomnia with nightime overheating, sleep breathing issues), and when I'm too low (loss of morning wood). for me, using daily injections, a fixed daily dose of 10 mg is too low, and a fixed daily dose of 14 mg is too high, sending me above the normal range for both testosterone and estrogen. somewhere in between, I'm sure there is a sweet spot, but rather than trying to find the perfect fixed daily dose, I'm going to try a sliding scale method. I'm not going to use any HCG or anastrozole in order to keep things simple and limit variables. most days I'm going to inject 12 mg. if I feel like I'm getting too high I'll bump it down to 10 mg for a few days and if I feel like I'm getting too low I'll bump it up to 14 mg for a few days. my goal is going to be to stay in the "good morning wood" zone on most days, maybe occasionally dropping too low, but really trying to avoid ever going too high. I'm wondering if anybody else has used this methodology and what other guys might think about it, thanks!

I think the only thing you would feel, is a placebo effect. I believe it's best to get dialed in and stay at that level. Overtime things may change, gaining weight or aging but that will be a very slow process

I actually think you might be onto something. Normal men have variations in their hormone levels so why not guys on TRT? Keep us updated.

Understanding Your Hormones

Estradiol (E2)

A form of estrogen produced from testosterone. Important for bone health, mood, and libido. Too high can cause side effects; too low can affect well-being.

DHT

Dihydrotestosterone is a potent androgen derived from testosterone. Affects hair growth, prostate health, and masculinization effects.

Free Testosterone

The biologically active form of testosterone not bound to proteins. Directly available for cellular uptake and biological effects.
