Hi. 51 yr old male. Been on TRT for a few years now. Was doing every other day subq 30mg per injection MWF. Switch to E3D (Sunday evening and Thursday morning) with 50mg per injection. Doing HCG 250iu MWF. 2 grains of Armour and 12.5mg of iodine. Labs below are trough levels Thurs before injection.. Couple of questions: Surprised at my Total T and free T levels. When I was doing every other day injections without HCG they were higher (887 TT and FT of 259 (range 35-155). Why the reduction in levels? Because of less frequent injections and these are trough maybe? Also even though my TT and FT are well within range my DHT is high. Why? Is that because suqb and more conversion subq via skin? I dont have prior subq every other day DHT labs. CBC and Chem profile were fine, hematocrit is fine. I tanked my E with Aromasin which Ive stopped. I read that low E results in higher ferritin (maybe because of resulting inflammation). I will give some blood. My cortisol is always on the higher end. I was going to try some PS and Rhodiala (sp?) to bring down. Was thinking on going IM and increasing my T dosage. Any and all insight and opinions much appreciated. As for how I feel, little libido and poor erections, but getting better. Weak and tired. Probably becasue I tanked my E. Thanks.

Understanding Your Hormones

Estradiol (E2)

A form of estrogen produced from testosterone. Important for bone health, mood, and libido. Too high can cause side effects; too low can affect well-being.

DHT

Dihydrotestosterone is a potent androgen derived from testosterone. Affects hair growth, prostate health, and masculinization effects.

Free Testosterone

The biologically active form of testosterone not bound to proteins. Directly available for cellular uptake and biological effects.
