Recent Brain Aneurysm and Gene's Stack

I had a brain aneurysm 6 months ago (subarachnoid hemorrhage) and luckily I survived after being in the ICU for almost a month. They did the coiling method to secure the aneurysm.I'm 36 years old.

I feel great now and I'm back to lifting weights. I want to try Gene's stack to however I'm not sure how inducing nitric oxide will effect my aneurysm or possibly cause new ones.

I am currently taking 3grms of arginine and 2 grms of citruline and 200mg of pycnogenol twice a week (1 hour before weight lifting sessions).

Would taking Gene's stack help or hurt me?

I am not a doctor, and even if I was, still wouldn't answer this. doubt dr saya would.

Ask your neurologist or whoever the physician is who treated you. I'd highly recommend you not do anything until you ask him or her.

First of all praise God for surviving!

Johndoesmith is right, I wouldn't be able to appropriately guide you on this question. Not for fear of liability, but simply for fear of potentially stearing you wrong. I'm not an expert on central nervous system vasculature, so I would run this question by your neurosurgeon for the most appropriate and safest response.

You're basically using the stack right now so it's late to ask...just because you've omitted the Doxazosin and Cialis (I presume) the real core ingredients of the "stack" are the Arg and Citrulline. The doses of each that you're taking are what I'd consider minimal effective doses. Usually for workout purposes we see 5-6g of Citrulline and a like amount of Arginine. You're right questioning the safety of it but the ingredients you're using are rather harmless in and of themselves, you're right to question the drug components.

Understanding Your Hormones

Estradiol (E2)

A form of estrogen produced from testosterone. Important for bone health, mood, and libido. Too high can cause side effects; too low can affect well-being.

DHT

Free Testosterone

The biologically active form of testosterone not bound to proteins. Directly available for cellular uptake and biological effects.
