Problem With Needles

I have been prescribed B complex to self inject. Doc told me to do 1ML twice a week. Gave me 3ML sub Q, 26 Gauge x 5/8" syringe. Did not hurt too bad. But want to move to a smaller size.

I am trying to locate them. My Walgreens did not even want to talk about it without a prescription. Checked suppliers mentioned here and they have a ton of options. But it appears that when you go with a larger amount such as 3ML syringe, there are no small needles.

What do you guys do?

Thanks

Also, I am beginning my injections at home soon and one time I accidentally touched the needle before injection (although I washed my hands thoroughly before and used alcohol on the injection site)...can this cause possible infection?

in theory yes, but unless your had something infectious on your hand when you touched it, not likely. And since you just washed your hands, even less likely.

Yes it is Vitamin B complex not T. As for the amount yes it seem like a lot for a subcutaneous injection but that is what is recommended. I did the first one last night and it seemed ok. In the stomach, did not hurt at all with 26G, 5/8". No soreness afterward also.

I am not sure how to convert ml to mg, since one is liquid volume and the other is weight.

Also thanks guys for the reference sites.

The Wal-mart pharmacy is my go-to for insulin syringes. Most other pharmacies I've tried either require a prescription or severely limit the number you can purchase per visit. Wal-mart has a policy of selling them freely with no prescription required. I can pick up a box of 100 for around $15.

That's good to know because walgreens does not sell them without a prescription. Kind of annoying. It's not illegal so why do they do that?

Thanks for all the input guys. B complex shot did not hurt, it did leave a little bruise a day later but not sore or anything. I am non Clomide, and DHEA also. Even though my T is very low we are trying these things first. Hopefully I can avoid T.

So it has been almost a week and things are going kind of ok. Couple of things. First injection of B complex was 1ml into my stomach subq. 26G needle with 5/8". Did not hurt at all going in, went in fine. Major accomplishment for me since I really dont like needles. After a couple of days it left a bruise and a hard spot. Bruise spread and is still spreading.

Second shot was yesterday and using same specs, but this time on my side at the love handle area. Went in fine did not hurt. Left a small hard spot and now a small bruise is forming, and now slightly sore.

Not sure this is going to work out over time. Any ideas on changes I could make to this a little less of an impact?

1ml is a lot to be injecting subq. That's likely why it's leaving a nodule. Usually injections that large would be given intramuscularly. I'm not sure whether B-complex can be injected IM or not but you might check into and consider it.

Also, a 26g needle is very large! I inject oil-based testosterone with a 29g needle fairly easily. If your B-complex is water-based you could use an even smaller 31g needle.

Use liquidations-outlet.com A 1/3 of the price

Actually, healthykin.com is way cheaper for needles and syringes than your LQ outlet, LQ is however $10 cheaper for the box of 100 Easy Touch 31 gauge insulin syringes. I just ordered from both sites. So thanks.
