Traveling with T

Hi,

I have a crazy idea and just want to know how crazy it is.

If I travel overseas I only want to bring enough T with me for the duration. But I would have to measure etc. to ensure that.
Lets just say I need 1ml > I used a 3ml syringe measure how much is left i.e. 1.5ml and then either
a) squirt it back and remember to use only 0.5ml and keep the rest for the trip
b) squirt 1ml back and the rest into another vial

Am I contaminating the T too much?

I dont think it has to be refrigerated, so why the concern over the exact amount? I would just take a bottle you know has enough.

Just for less hassle (security check/ customs/ .....) on the way back. As I fly carry on they will probably investigate (will be ok but still).

Domestically, I've never had the TSA look at any of my meds. I travel with my vial with its proper labeling, I do NOT take preloaded syringes. I've heard that traveling OCONUS you need some sort of added letter from your DR but I can't verify that.

I travel inside and outside us several times a year. I alway have a labeled box with script on it from pharmacy. I always save a little bit in last bottle to travel with just in case i loose it, it breaks or gets confiscated. If i am not in a situation of low bottle, i make sure i keep empty labeled bottle. I can inject whatever amount i will need imto the empty or near empty bottle. Following clean protocol as mentioned above. I do not mess with prefilled syringes, that, to me, would look suspecious. Multiple trips to several african countries, domnican republic, mexico, canada and throughout us and no issues. Got stopped by tsa this last trip as i have started taking hcg, somimhad a chiil pack in my carry on. They made me pull it to see. Glanced at it and thought it was insulin. Told me to keep it packed on top of carry on cause it will probably get looked at each time. Could put it in checked and not be a worry.
