On TRT Testim. Sexual question

So I had a t of 106 ng/DL first test, second test 146. 46 YO. But my sex life was always fine, pretty good in fact. Started Testim (generic prasco) 2 tubes daily. Within 3 days now I can't finish the job if u get my drift. I can literally go an hour and can't finish.

Is is this because my body is adjusting and my hormone levels haven't evened out yet?

Now on day 7 of testim. Get new levels checked early April.

Anyone else had had this problem? Also my morning wood went away. Even at low T I was still getting that. Only reason I went to be checked was because I was exhausted all the friggin time and started to gain weight even off a healthy diet.

On you initial blood work before you started what was your Estrogen level?

Your current T level is probably low still. It would be good to find out what it is.

Hmmm. They never said anything about estradiol levels. Maybe I should have them test that too.

"Sometimes", not ALWAYS, it can happen as a result of increased prolactin. Trust me, I know exactly what you're talking about with this subject. The problem with prolactin is it is usually NOT an issue on Testim/cyp, or any exogenous test, but it can be problematic if you have recently included any deca/nandrolone, or other Nor19 compounds?

If per chance this scenario is ever the case, then a person can look at a dopamine agonist, e.g., cabergoline (small amount), and will quickly turn the tables and allow a man to once again "finish the job!!". In your case E2 is probably the culprit, but this is another area for anyone reading to keep in mind if E2 checks out, and there's factors that could point to prolactin. Keep us posted ...

Update:

3 weeks on generic testim.

T is now 1,390, up from 106 (Way too high)
Free T is 42
Estradiol is 50

Lowering dose to one tube a day instead of 2. Re test in a few weeks

I feel great haha. No wonder w that T level.

Obviously my T and free T are way too high. E2 level seems fine.

My initial problem from OP isn't a problem anymore.

Hey. Same thing happened to me. I started testing and in the first week or so it caused a delay in finishing. The side effect was temporary.

Free T is 42
Estradiol is 50

Lowering dose to one tube a day instead of 2. Re test in a few weeks

What Estradiol test did they use?

The only accurate lab for men testing Estradiol is the "Sensitive" lab...any other lab is useless really.

Hi. Sorry for late reply. I'm having sensitive e2 done next week. Overall I feel pretty good. No need for Viagra or anything. Had some prostate discomfort but we lowered dose and it went away.

Ill post my my new full results when I get them back.

Sex wise I feel 21 again. I'm 46.
