New Protocol: When Will I Notice Changes?

I had been doing 100mg Cypionate once per week. I continued to feel like shit and my sex drive disappeared. I just now learned that my levels on injection day were:

Total: 271
Free: 32.3
Bioavailable: 62.1

Obviously all very, very low. On the flip side, my levels 2 days after injection were sky high. I'm hoping that this roller coaster is the main cause of my issues and complaints. Does that sound right?

I have started doing .25cc every 3.5 days. So it's still 100mg per week but I'm hoping that by breaking it up like this I will have a more even balance throughout the week. But how long would it be before I actually notice a difference? And does anyone recommend anything different?

How long did you follow the initial protocol, and where does your SHBG and sensitive estradiol sit? Any change, such as you have made (and it's a reasonable one), needs to be given at least four, and preferably six, weeks before it can be evaluated.

I was doing 100mg once a week for over a year at least.

SHBG was 36 on these last labs done on injection day. I see the reference is 10-50 but is 36 good enough?

Estradiol was 16 with the reference saying <= 39. I don't think this was the sensitive test however.

I was at a higher dose for months and felt nothing but a roller coaster ride, it wasn't until my dose was lowered that I started feeling a little better. No more roller coaster and don't feel low anymore with once week injections, it took 2 months till I first started noticing small changes. Too high or low a dose and you will not feel much better at all!

I'm confused why your doctor hasn't changed your dose in the first couple of months since you feel nothing at 100mg?

Can you tell me what dose you were doing and what it was lowered to?

What we are getting at is that the change you made might be great, but it's going to take a bit to see effects from the change. Without knowing how long ago you started your new protocol no one can really offer much help as you don;t want to introduce too many variables at a time.

When he said "initial" protocol I'm pretty sure he meant to ask how long had I been doing the first protocol.

No no I get that, I just think there was confusion with his question. Knowing how long ago I started the new protocol makes no difference. If generally speaking it takes 4-6 weeks to notice a difference, then it doesn't matter if I started the new protocol yesterday or 5 weeks ago. The answer is still 4-6 weeks :) He was asking how long I had been doing the initial protocol because I'm guessing that would have an impact on how long it might take for a change to be noticed. If I was doing 100mg once per week for 4 weeks, a change would probably happen faster than if I had been doing 100mg once per week for 5 years. However, I only started the new protocol less than a week ago. So my fingers are crossed.

I was on 200mg every 3 weeks, then I was on 200mg every ten days which felt like way, way too much test! Now I'm on 75mg every 7 days which puts me at around 600 ng/dL at my highest point and 442 ng/dL at my lowest point. I'm on my ninth week on this protocol. Night and day difference between protocols! Changes for me are slow, very slow.

Wow. You were doing 200mg every 3 weeks in only one injection?!? And now 75mg once per week? I was doing 100mg once per week and my high was over 1,000 and my low was below 50! What causes my swing to be so much more dramatic than yours I wonder.
