Minoxidil and Azelaic Acid for hair loss? Anyone tried/used it?

My TRT Dr. offered me some liquid Minoxidil/Azelaic Acid for hair loss and it is really expensive.

I was wondering if anyone has used them before and if they are any good or worth it. Also any side effects to note? I am getting a lot of mixed reviews from google and wanted to see what you guys had to say about it.

I know that Defy offers a number of compounded topical hair loss preparations; this is one of them. While many report that the combined topicals, such as this, are more effective, I have never tried one. Minoxidil alone has worked very well for me for a number of years.

I have used Minox/Azelaic Acid from empower when they had the 10/5%. It worked great. They changed their formulation to Minox/Azelaic Acid 5/10% since and have not tried it.

Get your Dr to write you a prescription and buy it directly from empower pharmacy. It will most certainly be half the cost than what your Dr wants to sell it to you for.
