how soon to measure blood after starting test cyp injections?

just started test cyp injections 50 mg twice a week a couple weeks ago

just did my 4th injection, so its been a little over a week and a half

i know it takes like 3-6 weeks to feel any better.. but i dont want to wait 6 weeks, feel nothing, then take a bloodwork only to find out that my 100mg a week protocol only gets me up to something like 450 test levels..

how soon can i take a bloodwork to get an accurate measurement of where my 100mg a week dose is getting me as far as actual numbers so i know to adjust up or down

5 weeks minimum. 6 is best.

Let me tell you something that happened to me. At 5 weeks, I felt nothing, I was pissed, so I got total, free, and sensitive E2 ran. I was hoping they were low, total: 862, free 25(9-26), E2 27(8-35). Now I was crushed. Maybe it wasn't a testosterone issue after all is what I thought.

Around week 7-8 I showed signs of improvement, yet I didn't notice. Others pointed it out, my therapist, and mostly friends or family I saw weekly. For instance, the people I live with, said nothing and have not said anything still.

They noticed my demeanor change, my ability to make a decision about wheat vs white bread without consulting a doctor, lawyer, taxidermist, and priest. Lots of small things. Then, I noticed I no longer feel like I want to die. All of these things were so slow that I didn't notice anything change day to day.

It is much like the song "Time" by pink floyd, in a sense, "And then one day you find ten years have got behind you" where you can't point out the day things changed, but somewhere, they did and one day you suddenly realize it.

Im curious specifically about how soon to test 4 accurate numbers on a blood work not for how long it takes to take effect because I figure there's no reason waiting for months for an effect if let's say my dose only brings me up to a level of like 400 for example.. then I can adjust my dose and not waste time waiting just on subjective feelings

When I first started TRT I waited 12 weeks for my next labs, 6 weeks should be fine. My dose was 70mg of T and 500iu of HCG, I felt the results immediately but TRT also gave flu like symptoms. I was told my body adjusting to the hormones.

I'm right there with you. I just took my 6th shot. Wondering whats happening with the numbers. However, I am definitely feeling changes since I started. Especially since end of my second week. My libido has been through the roof. I basically have not been interested in the opposite sex for years. I could see a hot chick walking down the road and saw her as nothing more then a brick wall. Same with my wife unfortunately. Since starting I think we have had sex more in the past two weeks then we have in the past 6 to 8 months combined! My mood is improving as well. and my initiative to do things is improving as well. I had so much trouble getting off my butt to do something it wasn't funny. I know have a couple of home improvement projects that I am finally starting on again.

But still, we always want to see concrete proof in lab results right? I know I do. After seeing generally poor results for better part of a year it will be nice to see good values!

As johndoesmith has said though, it's probably better to wait. I think it may take more time for the actual numbers to stabilize in your system to get a better reading in your trough.
