Pay to play in the anti (ahem accelerated) aging game.
Lol, right. Nothing like calling yourself an anti-aging clinic and then pumping people to the gills with growth hormone and thyroid hormone. I bet you can knock a solid 5 to 8 years off an average person's lifespan with that combination. High thyroid alone was associated with 3 years shorter in the last study I saw.

You have to admit it’s fun to watch. The best one I ever seen in danny’s Facebook group. Is these gurus (clowns) saying they do this shit for free. And give tons of free advice. Especially that arrogant prick Gil t. Who just constantly self promotes always posting links to his clinic. (that he only now just became a nurse) I bet you he got 90% patients from that group. So how can you act like you’re doing this out of the goodness of your heart lol. And what kills me they call themselves and hrt clinic and wont Even prescribe thyroid.
Gil T?

The all female gym owner and Pre-IPO specialist turned TRT guru? You don't want his advice?

Gil is the kind of guy who thinks that being overly pedantic means you sound smart. If you ever watch his videos if someone asks about Anavar, he'll say something like "Anavar doesn't exist anymore , Anavar is the brand name of a steroid that was created in the 1960s that was discontinued, are you Sure you mean Anavar or are you talking about oxandrolone?"

Dose response. Decent admission. Erythrocytosis when you run "optimal" levels with the cream just as prevalent with injections.

39:00

Blood viscosity

44:00

"Are we done here?" How can you be done when you haven't even started yet?

12 mins and no mention of plasma viscosity, inflammation.

How you play the game?

Stay safe?

Douche bag suits him well.

I have to find the podcast where I think he does reference plasma viscosity.

graduated the City University of NY with a degree in finance and business.

Not hitting on these degrees but they don't naturally speak to me as what to seek out for someone I want to pay for hormone consults.

To be fair to Gil, his personality aside, the advice he gives is not the most batshit craziest and over the top it just seems to me like generic regurgitations of what you read on r/testosterone and I have no idea what is in his heart so I can only take his motivations at face value and assume he is doing this because he genuinely wants to help people.

This bunch seems to have tried to undo everything the fitness industry has worked hard to over come since the early 70's. We have gone to gyms being ALL male facilities, to females on one side and finally in the mid and late 70's gyms opened where both men and women could be in the same building. From what my wife and I have observed, gyms have grow to the extent they have grown because men and women can work out together. A giant leap backwards into segregation.

That’s just it. He doesn’t give anyone else credit either. It’s like he is the true pioneer and the Smartest guy in the room. At least the mother guy that coaches dave lee gives credit to the guys before him and genuinely seems like a good dude. However the amount he charges for some of his content and to be his client is insane lol

what also kills me about Gil is how they talk down to people and say “trt isn’t rocket science“ but then “you have to come to me cause I’m the only one that knows what I’m doing “

Ya I find him extremely annoying, for this exact reason. Acts like every question is the dumbest question ever, and he’s here to set everyone straight. Can’t stand the way he comes off
I am in complete agreement with everyone about Gil T. I posted some questions in the FB group when I was just starting to learn about TRT and he was so rude and arrogant it was unbelievable. His clinic has a bunch of negative reviews online which is what you might reasonably expect. It illustrates just how low the bar is for performance in the TRT space that someone like him can be successful.

One thing I find amusing: Gil T is adamant that cream is pure garbage and never fails to remind everyone. This, despite the fact that it has become the favorite form of TRT among the other practitioners and moderators of the FB group, and there are countless testimonials almost daily about how well it is working for group members. He's one of those rare titans of ignorance that will remain steadfastly wrong about something until the day he dies no matter how much evidence to the contrary is thrown in his face.

The one guy I genuinely respect is Dr Jordan grant. He’s a genuinely good dude. I’ve talked to him in private a few times. He’s also not afraid to admit if he gets things wrong.

That is pretty funny to think about...forum and youtube TRT/TOT Fight Club. Would be quite interesting to see how that went down once stuff got real in person. Hopefully some would be excellent runners or at least possess excellent lateral speed.

You made me spit my coffee a little. A sincere thanks!
You know, the term "jumping on the TRT bandwagon" surely comes to mind. Since this TRT bandwagon started rolling back in maybe 2003, I have known a few guys, including an ex-training partner that had no medical background, jump in and start life extension businesses. He even called himself Doc Mark. Opened up a life extension center in the Woodlands, Texas using a medical doctor, nutritionists and others. He wanted me to get involved and I refused. I also know some ex-steroid dealers who have done the same thing. One of them was selling peptides to patients that he bought from a guy I know who sells them UG, turns out they were worthless.

Do these scammers care about life extension or TRT? No, it is just another scam to make money by selling steroids legally. They are just drug dealers at heart. As we all are aware, some people have no understanding of ethics and don't care what happens to the people they scam money off of. Back then YouTube was non existant.....as time goes on these same scammers have suddenly risen to "guru" status because they flood the internet with videos and pod casts as Youtube started in 2005 and suddenly got big. The gullible public sees these videos all the time and believes these guys are experts. Great marketing right? Look at this "influencer" Jake Paul, several times millionaire and all he is, is a bullshit artist. Living proof that scammers can make tons of money putting BS on Youtube, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. Wanna be a guru, just make podcasts and videos, even sitting in your car and post then to every social media site telling people who watch this crap they your are an expert. Seeing is believing.

Guys, this is why I have always avoided these TRT clinics and will continue to do so. I would rather educate myself and buy UG products than buy from steroid dealers who are running a scam pretending to be a TRT expert. Somehow this TRT industry is going to have to clean itself up or the bandwagon is going to be derailed.

Heres how this happens:

1 The message on social media is that TRT is the miracle cure for everything that ails the middle aged man.

2 The mainstream medical general disinterest in TRT which usually means that a Dr. opens up the latest edition of Harrison's and sees something like you treat low test by giving a 100mg injection of Cypionate once every 2-4 weeks or a shot of undecanoate every 3 months.

3 The Bro-TRT clinic in a strip mall outside Tampa where a moonlighting Hooters waitress puts you on 200mg of Cyp, HCG, and AI 3x a week and then just relentless tries to upsell you on peptides, deca, anavar, b-12 injections, NAD nasal spray and gainswave.

A 40 year old guy reads 1.
Goes to 2.
Is either denied by 2 or doesn't get the miracle results and ends up at 3.
Still doesn't get the miracle from 3 and may even feel worse.
Reads 1 again and figures "I'm doing something wrong".
Goes back on social media

enter THE TRT GURU!!!!! here to fix all your TRT problems, just come to my clinic or sign up for a few hours consultation!

this is not all men on TRT for sure, not even the majority, but it is enough that there is a "market" for gurus.

i believe it’s this one. i do wanna say this we are giving @RobRoy a lot of free press. He should come back and join the convo
Yes, I know Mark Rippatoe, former powerlifter, says he obtained CSCS certification and later gave it up, and gym owner, in Wichita Falls. The dude is my age, earned a degree in petroleum geology. He has been trying to promote himself to the guru status to any group that will listen since I can remember. I guess he too is now doing podcasts and has jumped on the TRT ban wagon. BigTex didn't says this but it was in a Muscle and Fitness article he himself wrote "I was never a good lifter. "I was 622 (squat), 396 (bench), and 633 (deadlift). People don’t pay me to lift weights. People pay me to teach them how to lift weights." Okey dokey. However in the article there is a picture of Mark and one of his students doing a squat. Most half way decent powerlifters know head down and eyes down is not correct way to squat. But they paid him to learn how to lift weights? Man, don't even get me started on this guy. I just watched his deadlift instructional video and it was personally insulting but then that is why I lifted 800 and he lifted 633.

Nope. Another 30 min of wasted time scanning and playing this vid at 2x. No mention of plasma viscosity. Did mention whole blood viscosity.

Admits to what I have been saying for years that the heart has to work harder at higher Hct but too stupid to understand what they actually said and that they have vehemently argued against that when I mentioned it on the forums. Only "benefits"! Somehow believe viscosity of blood at a given shear rate with XX% Hct is different in a cone and plate viscometer than in an artery. No mention of micro vs microcirculation. Vague statements so they cant be pinned down. Interviewed by a goof.

Would not pass undergraduate fluid mechanics course. More hand waving. How do I say this nicely...the coverage of hematocrit was incomplete and inadequate. Fail. Horrible. My recommendation for them is to read the detailed information I have shared here and at TNation to improve their knowledge.

Thanks for sharing though.

I feel dirty and ashamed for them after watching that.

BTW @BigTex: those PL numbers especially the bench on a large regular dose of AAS.... Horrible. Would be time to get a new hobby. Makes no sense and then you coach?

633 (deadlift).

Seen this individual train in person. Reps easy on 405 squat ATG.

Legit insane at her bodyweight.

I am taking a break. You guys are right. The internet / youtube gurus are not worth our time. Joke. @RobRoy would be all over my ass 6 ways to yesterday if he had any chance in hell of debating with me or refuting the information I have shared. It is all out there for the reading and learning. Hopefully it will help his future messaging and advice he gives.

Best wishes to you all. To your health!!
