HCG and additional supplemenation?

For those on HCG monotherapy, I have heard Dr Crisler discuss how he adds DHEA to the protocol for those men. I have also read albeit more on the bro science side that Vit D is also needed for HCG to work. I dont doubt Dr Crislers advice so I will supplement DHEA, but what aspect of Vit D would allow HCG to work better? I dont mind supplementing Vit D, heck I already take 5000 to 10000 iu, but im looking for others experience or knowledge on its relationship to HCG use.

Also, would supplementing pregnenelone still be recommended, discouraged, or of no consequence?

if it's too be believed that HCG mimic's LH in order to spur some downstream conversion to DHEA/Preg, you wouldn't need to supplement, right? (rhetorical). The point is that it's all a grey spot and ton's of opinions exist on how you should approach this.

For what it's worth Dr. C was my doctor for a while and he was the one who started me on daily HCG (along with Test Cyp) AND dosed DHEA very aggressively. He liked to shoot for DHEA numbers in the very high range or even over. For a while he had me taking as much as 75 mg a day of DHEA (I take 25mg twice a day now). He could be aggressive with me though as I have a high SHBG so never had estrogen issues of any kind. I don't really know if the DHEA had any effect but I took at and still do because in his considerable clinical experience it was worth doing.
