Ok, chewed Copenhagen for several years and always had a bloated face and thought it was water retention from trt. E2 levels area fine and I work out 5 days a week. My face is always bloated around the cheeks and under my chin. My family went out to the river for memorial day and beers were flowing big time. My wife was giving me crap about how bloated my face seemed. I chew about a can of Copenhagen a day. I wondered if the dip could be causing my bloating. Energy is not all that great either and I get tired every time I dip even though Nicotine is supposed to be a stimulant.

So, I googled salt content in Copenhagen and I was floored when I found out there is around 2400mg PER CAN!!! So, basically I intake prob double the amount of sodium a day that I should. I have a prescription for Chantix my doc gave me and I said its time to stop this crap. Within 2 days no chew my facial bloat went down about 3/4 of what it was before. My energy and sex drive is through the roof and feel freaking great. No more rapid heart rate or mild anxiety which I think nicotine causes in many people ...

I've been clean for 8 days and the cravings are about gone. Chantix definitely works and my face is about back to normal. I know from previous posts there a few members on here that chew. I do miss having a dip but the benefits of being clean far out weigh that.....
