Coming off Anastrazole. Possible low E2 symptoms?

Protocol up until now:

- 125mg TestE divided into 2 injections per week
- 0.125mg Anastrazole 24 hours post each injection.

Libido has been shit, dryish skin, frequent night urination.

Thought I would skip a dose potentially remove the AI all together, however, I am extremely paranoid about gyno getting worse (had pubertal gyno, and dont want it getting worse). I'm not sure if I'm imagining high E2 symptoms and am paranoid or if just skipping one dose of AI can elevate E2 that quick.

Last blood work showed 17pg/ml with a scale of <40pg/ml E2 which is apparently a sensitive assay here in Australia.
I would really appreciate some input/thoughts on how to move forward from here.

TIA

The only way to know which estradiol test is being run is to ask the lab if the results were derived via liquid chromatography, dual mass spectrometry. Any other method is not the sensitive estradiol test.

What were your total testosterone, and free testosterone, values at this point? Have you seen a response to the injections? We need more than an estradiol test, in isolation,to offer advice.

I would say 17 is a bit low for E2 even if its the standard (female) test, I understand you may not have the ultraSensitive LC/MS/MS test avail to you in Australia. Low E shares some symptoms with high E...I agree would like to see Total and Free T just to compare.

You wrote you dealt with gynecomastia durning puberty. It was classic gynecomastia and not simply chest fat? How was that treated and were any hormonal issues addressed at that time?

Understanding Your Hormones

Estradiol (E2)

A form of estrogen produced from testosterone. Important for bone health, mood, and libido. Too high can cause side effects; too low can affect well-being.

DHT

Dihydrotestosterone is a potent androgen derived from testosterone. Affects hair growth, prostate health, and masculinization effects.

Free Testosterone

The biologically active form of testosterone not bound to proteins. Directly available for cellular uptake and biological effects.
