Hi all.

If you are on 5mg Cialis ED for prostate and blood pressure management.
And that is not enough for good erections.
Can you still use Viagra for sex then?
Or do you lose that option?

***UPDATE***
About me:

50+ years old.
Healthy.
Been lifting for 30+ years.
Did steroids when I was younger.
115kg muscular with 18% bodyfat tho (working on it)
Testosterone normal for my age (middle range)
BP 116/66

Been using Cialis or Viagra for years,
(Never at same time)
But the meds have been losing effectiveness.
Standing or changing position makes me lose erection.
Good nocturnal/morning erections.
Along with pills losing effect I do get some performance anxiety.

I am going to urologist to get diagnosed.
Maybe get Caverject test?

Thank you for your time all.
Makes me feel not alone.

First I'm 71 years old. I'll use. I'll use 20 mg. Of Cialis and 100 mg of Viagra. I'll combine both in the morning and sometimes both at night.
Only on "sex days" I guess?
Not every day right?
I find Cialis alone is to weak for sex.
Viagra is stronger.
But I like the way I feel day to day on low dose Cialis.
It even makes me pee less at night.

Can I ask what dosages you use?
The dosage would be dependent on the individual. A drop in blood pressure is the only concern, and everyone has a different sensitivity to it. Factors like BP meds, alcohol consumption and other things that affect BP need to be considered. Start with the lowest dose. The combination works well for a lot of guys.

Very interesting guys.
Thx for sharing, Vince.

I guess I can start low, say 25mg Viagra and then keep blood pressure journal.
I dont drink or smoke.

Yes!

Recommendation #60. We suggest a combination of chronic and on-demand PDE5i in patients not responding to conventional therapy (Expert Opinion).

NO is where it's at!

Throw in some L-Arginine or L-Citrulline dosed daily.

I use Citrulline Malate in the gym?
But I do not know if that is the same?

Regarding cardiovascular/endothelial health NO is key and L-citrulline is what increases NO levels not malate.

The malate component fuels the Krebs cycle, aiding in the production of ATP (energy).

If anything CM would be more advantageous pre-workout as it can enhance energy production/lessen fatigue.

Need to pay attention to the strength (2:1 vs 1:1) you are using as you would need to aim for 3-6 grams of citrulline daily

If you are using the 1:1 then you will need to consume 6-12 grams daily to get 3-6 grams of L-Citrulline.

If you are using the 2:1 then you will need to consume 4.5-9 grams daily to get 3-6 grams of L-Citrulline.

When using L-citrulline to improve nitric oxide/benefits (cardiovascular/endothelial health) and erectile function/quality in the few human studies (men suffering from ED) the dose used was 1.5-3 grams.

I would say 3 grams divided 2-3 times/day would be sufficient.

Many take 3-6 grams daily.

I take 3 grams L-citrulline 2x/day.

As far as using citrulline malate (2:1) for a pre-workout supplement aid the effective dose is 6 grams (4 grams citrulline:2 grams malate).

Ahh, good to know.
I will try that.
It says 2:1 mix.
