A rather interesting case for the argument of receptor damage/silencing when using Anastrozole

Starting in December 2025 I began a 160mg TRT weekly protocol that has HCG 250mg monday wednesday friday however the clinic had closed for approximately two weeks. I ended up taking a test booster called EVL Test the night of 6/8 that has the following

Vitamin D3- 50 Mcg

Vitamin B6- 11mg

Magnesium 160 mg

Zinc 30mg

Daspartic acid- 3120mg

Tribulus terrestris extract - 750 mg

Fenugreek extract- 500mg

DIM- 250mg

In weeks prior I took Damiana tablets.

Fast forward to the morning of 8/9 I took. 25mg anastrozole due to concerns the DAA would raise my level of e2 I was met with genital numbness (glans) and fight or flight wake ups (though I can now return to sleep when this occurs) and decreased volume of ejaculate I still have libido, can feel temp on the genital shaft and do not have any of the other depression/neuro effects Post finasteride syndromeguys do. My levels never crashed. Sensitive blood results came out at 32 and I resumed TRT and HCG on 6/11.

Since its officially month 2 im entering into the phase where this does indeed qualify as a post drug syndrome

I am looking for advice if any neurology/endocrinology professionals are worth consulting with (Probably not if this is some sort of rare post anastrozole syndrome) and two if theres anything you guys recommend or if its just worth it to wait the time out and see if anything improves. One guy did mention here that he just waited two years and his symptoms went away allbeit not genital numbness. --- This seems to really be the standout amongst any mention of interaction with anastrozole.

The only thing I can think of is a central nervous system based crash however given the time it seems like a stretch.

and yes I am aware OTC supplements are useless. I know this now.

Have you tried the basics like viagra? Test boosters are well known for having things not listed on the label like viagra and clomid. Clomid in combination with an AI seems like an even riskier proposition than just the AI. There are other threads here that talk about crashed estrogen symptoms and treatments. I have never heard of a way to "properly check" for receptor issues.

Tadalafil 20mg works. It’s just a weird condition hoping for recovery.
