Anastrazole and other ai’s may activate the estrogen receptor in place of estradiol

Interesting read. Does this mean that anastrozole is better or worse than exemestane/letrozole for men on TRT? I've tried both anastrozole and exemestane. Anastrozole was stronger and brought my E down more.

the “zoles” would both fit this ticket potentially, but possibly letrozole to less of a degree.

anastrazole exerts it’s effects similarly to DHt as it actually converts into a rather potent androgen.

I’m not sure which is better or worse. I have never taken an ai. I tend to have rather low estradiol numbers. I periodically experiment with supplementing estradiol.

Understanding Your Hormones

Estradiol (E2)

A form of estrogen produced from testosterone. Important for bone health, mood, and libido. Too high can cause side effects; too low can affect well-being.

DHT

Dihydrotestosterone is a potent androgen derived from testosterone. Affects hair growth, prostate health, and masculinization effects.

Free Testosterone

The biologically active form of testosterone not bound to proteins. Directly available for cellular uptake and biological effects.
