Quick update since my last post. i’m a few weeks in on kyzatrex now and the warm/restless episodes i mentioned are still happening sometimes, but they’re way less intense. early on it felt like these random little heat waves with a slightly wired feeling for like 20–30 mins, usually after a dose. now it’s more like… i notice it, shrug, and it passes.
The biggest variable for me has been food. when i take kyzatrex with an actual meal (not just a snack), it feels smoother. if i take it with something light, i’m more likely to get that warm/wired feeling and a little stomach weirdness. could be placebo, could be the absorption thing everyone talks about, but it’s been consistent enough that i’m not trying to outsmart it anymore.
Overall mood has been steadier than injections were for me. not “crazy high”, just less up/down. energy is a bit better and i’m not dragging as hard mid-day. libido is slowly coming back too, not in a cartoon way, just more normal. sleep has been ok, maybe even slightly better because i’m not thinking about pin days and travel logistics.
I’ve been checking blood pressure a few times a week just to be smart and so far it’s been fine, but i’m still planning labs soon because i don’t trust vibes alone. i’m mostly curious where hematocrit and lipids land on oral tu over time.
Anyone else get that warm/restless feeling early on kyzatrex and did it fully go away for you? and do you notice a real difference depending on how much fat is in the meal, or is it mostly just “take it with food and chill”? also for the guys who’ve been on oral tu longer, how often are you checking bp/labs once you feel stable?
