#1 a acth serum of 35 or less along with low cortisol can often indicate possible secondary adrenal insufficiency. The acth stim test is the wrong test for that and can be misleading for identifying secondary adrenal insufficiency. For SAI you need a ITT or metyrapone stim test. Link Removed

Don't mean to hi jack this thread or anything to that affect, but I've been scouring the forums looking for a cause of my low libido/ed issues and i came across this.

What are optimal ranges for cortisol and ACTH?
My levels as of 06/06/19 were:
CORTISOL (AM) 11.8 (4.0-22.0 mcg/dL)
ACTH,PLASMA 33 (6-50 pg/mL)
