Hi all. Well 8 weeks off TRT GP asked me ti try to then get bloods done. He wants to see what my bloods are without TRT.. He then wants to refer me to one of the top endocrinologists in the UK.. So 9 weeks have passed and my results are test is 14.4 nmol ref range(6 to 27)
Shgb 64 nmol
Prolactin is 55 ref range (56 to 278)
And LH 13 ref range (1 to 8)
So my LH is high and my free testosterone couldn't any lower.
I have a feeling the gp will ignore the free t result as they didnt test for it and he will say its in ref range. The shbg is using up my free t.

Your Free T is below the cutoff (.225 nmol/L) that qualifies you for TRT. As far as being the top endo in the UK, that usually doesn’t have any bearing in the world of TRT.

Yeah I know. Lol have to try tho. Never right on TRT so what's the point injecting if it never helped my libido or erection. That's why I started it... My LH is high and my free t is low so why isnt the free t higher if the tests are working ? Is it all the fault of the shbg ?

The low Free T might be contributing to the high SHBG. Androgens lower SHBG, increases in insulin sensitivity increases SHBG, so starving one’s self can lead to high SHBG.

I have been on a very low cal cut . . My issue is when I eat over calorie maintenance even say by 100 to 200 I obviously lose the cut look and just end up fat . Looking fat with a gut .
 
Sounds like you need to go full carnivore diet, low calories and maintain the ripped abs.
Been thinking that for a while or keto. . Heard of many benefits from carnivor. I just don't think I could give up veg. So keto would be better with low carbs less than 40g .

I’ve been on the carnivore diet for eight months and recently ate asparagus with a steak. It had massive bloating and G.I. issues. My gut biome has changed so much that it can handle vegetables anymore.

This tells me that vegetables are not optimal or necessary for the human diet. There’s nothing in vegetables that you can’t get from red meat, there’s stuff in meat you can’t get in vegetables.

If you removed all the unhealthy foods from the grocery stores, you'd be left with meat, eggs and cheese. If if the only thing in the grocery stores was meat, eggs and cheese, the big food companies wouldn't exist.

Eggs has a huge amount of vitamin D, 40 IU to be exact.

Facts you may not know about the human digestive system,

Acid base optimal digestion, animal protein, fatty red meat, B12, minerals all neutralization of bacteria. Fiber dilutes stomach acid, plant chemicals interfere with acid and absorption of minerals. Eating has become an obsession for people, they have overcomplicated it and turned it into a hobby. I always hear the same response from people when I talk to them about the carnivore diet, they think they need to eat everything in moderation.

Everyone says the same damn thing. They say things like, I like, I prefer more variety. I only care about what I need.

Thank you for that. U r right. I've recently read that inulin helps push out bad LHD . Also reading how that really isn't needed as cholesterol isn't bad .

My cholesterol is sky high, over 300 on the carnivore diet but my liver clears out all the excess because my high density lipoprotein, which is also high, carries it back to the liver to be discarded.

Many doctors that prescribe statins are completely unaware that sufficient testosterone is needed to remove the cholesterol from your arteries.
 
My worry with that is that I don't have sufficient testosterone. 0.18 nmol ain't gonna help me.

On the carnivor keto diet do you still have to eat in a calorie excess to gain muscle. That's my goal over the next 6 to8 months .

I eat 2-3 pounds of red meat per day, I continue to gain muscle mass while continuing to lose weight! Now that my vitamin D levels are finely moving towards optimal levels, I’m about to start eating more red meat to put on even more muscle mass.

Wow that must be expensive.
 
On average about $30 per day for grass fed beef. Remember, a lot of people eat out, especially at work and grab a Starbucks coffee which can easily exceed that.
I'm away at the minute in Krakow so I'll have to do more research later when home. Does.it have to be grass fed every meal. No bacon ?

The non-grass fed meat is still way better than other processed foods. Bacon is fine.

As a rule of thumb, get grass fed whenever your wallet allows.

I actually get mostly non-grass fed ribeyes, unless on sale and 100% grass fed hamburger.

I can get 4 lbs of grass fed hamburger for $30.

This is laughable.

Might want to rephrase that one!

The goal when trying to gain muscle mass is being in a slight caloric surplus and meeting your daily protein intake.

You are already eating a shitload of protein upping it even more is not going to have you packing on more muscle mass.

If anything it would be increasing your fats and even then following a carnivore diet is not the optimal diet if ones looking to pack on muscle mass/increase strength.

Carbs as in starch is where it's at!

Your on f**king oral TU (Jatenzo) do not expect any miracles here LOL!
