My protocol is 80mg Test C twice per week. 500iu of HCG twice per week on injection days.
I have Adex on hand, but figure if I’m not showing major sides then I can wait. When the doctor reviews them at 90 days then they will see if I need one. I figure it’ll be easier to get dialed in.
I...
Long story short, I’ve only been on for 6 weeks and feel great mentally. Pre-TRT I didn’t workout for 6 months due to depression and no motivation.
I’ve never gone that long without working out. I’m naturally skinny, but turned into a skinny fat over that period.
I started TRT on December 12...
Dr Crisler, do you think it is wise to start patients on TRT without using an AI until bloods are seen, instead of using it right off the bat and possibly crashing E2? Which method do you believe gets a person dialed in faster?
I am prescribed 80mg Test C 2x per week with 500iu 2x a week of...
Funny thing is, I bought some b12 injectables and my first shot was 5 days ago (never done it in the past). 1,000mcg is what I administered. Could it be the b12 tapering off? Maybe I should split the dose and do every 3 or 4 days.
I’ve thought about high E2 levels too. Before TRT and a failed...
Hey all,
I just started TRT and yesterday would mark my third day injecting Test Cyp 80mg e3.5d. It’s the second time since I’ve started my protocol that my fingers have been tingling/slightly numb.
I’ve know that TRT rises hemocrit levels, and mine were at 43.1 prior to a 3 month Clomid...
I just started TRT with Defy and I’m on my third injection. I am due for follow-up labs in 3 months, however, I am not taking my AI yet. I was prescribed .125 of Ameridex to be taken e3.5d or as needed when sides arise. My fear is crashed estrogen.
I am going to wait until 6 weeks to get my own...
Hey guys, quick update. I pinned into my shoulder yesterday and there was NO pain. A LITTLE bit of soreness waking up but nothing compared to when I pinned stomach. No hard limp of oil felt, not hot, nothing. Funny because I hear people have issues with shoulders. I’m a skinny guy and injected...
Interesting. Initially I was considering rotating between delts and ventrogluteal, however, I thought if I injected half of my shots IM (shoulder) and half subq thaen it would cause issues. The ventrogluteal is such a small area to inject in to.
I’ll either try that or the shoulders next time...
Hey all,
New to TRT and had my first pin on Wednesday night. 40iu test C in the abdomen. Everything was fine.
Today (3.5d later), I inject on the other side of my abdomen. I was feeling my stomach to see where my initial injection was though, which I found because it was harder than all the...
Good news! You all were right
I pinned HCG son the left side of my stomach and the Test on the right side. NO pain, injected slowly (10 seconds per unit) and NO lumps.
Not sure where I’ll do my next injection though, thinking of just rotating sites on my stomach..doesn’t matter really...
I appreciate the response..maybe I’ve been reading too much about the negative sides of things. I’ll educate myself further though and search through the forums. Thanks.
I’m a low SHBG guy with 22% bodyfat (skinny fat)..SHBG is 23.
I’ve heard SHBG guys need more frequent injections. If that’s true, then wouldn’t SubQ be better for them as I’ve heard the Test levels are more stable?
I have 27 gauge 1/2” needles for injection. Originally I wanted to inject SubQ...
I’m not sure if this will make a difference, but my E2 level of 30 is after a failed Clomid restart for 3 months. Prior to the Clomid protocol my numbers were as follows:
Testosterone: 279
Free Test: 10
E2: 10
SHBG: 23.6 (didn’t change)
My LH didn’t move at all and stayed the same at 6.4
What...
Thanks everyone! I’ll hold off on AI until blood-work is done at 6weeks showing T/E2 levels!
Also, my SHBG level is at 23.7, which is kind of on the low side of the scale. Hopefully I don’t convert too much T!
I’ve been reading all the posts about members crashing their E2 and it horrified me.
My E2 levels are currently at 30 and Total Test at 450, however, my skin is on the drier side and my joints feel creaky. I know 30 for E2 is supposed to be in the upper range though.
My TRT regiment will be...
Im not sure Vince, the way it was phrased to me in my consult is that he wants to see my LH get up to 10-15 (over the limit), which CAN be enough to get my testicles working and produce testosterone. That is the goal in 2 months.
If that doesn’t work, then it’ll be plan B, which is Test + HCG...
Things I found out during my consult:
1. I have primary hypogondism.
2. My thyroid labs were pretty normal but my T3 was a little off. I got my blood work from Lab Corp. Here is a snippet of the labs I received:
a) Total Test: 279 (264 - 916)
b) Free Test: 10.8 (8.7 - 25.1)
c) DHEA: 283 (138...
I figure there is no study on this, but if a person drank heavily for a couple months, ate a lot of sugary foods, and didn’t workout..how far would his test levels drop?
Let’s say this person was working out and eating right prior to his binge of crappy lifestyle choices and his T level was...
I plan to. But I don’t have a personal doctor whom I have history with. Never have. Figure most people have “their” doctor to go to, and if I had my choice they’d be well versed in TRT. Regardless of their views I’d of course let them know of what I’m doing outside of their office..but for...
So I don’t have a family doctor. If I get really sick I just take my butt to an immediate care clinic. After receiving my blood work for the first time I can remember in 30 years, I’d like to find a local primary care physician while I work with Defy who I can go to for things outside of their...
Thank you for the detailed response. I will be really happy if my joint pain is relieved as I feel like everything pops, grinds, and needs wd40.
And I’ll definately get my diet gong in the right direction. I’m SO glad I found this forum and found a possible solution to my issues!
I fasted for 12 hours prior to the test, nothing but water.
What can I do about creatinine levels? I know the A1C level is high, but I believe that has to do with my crappy diet (major carbs and redlined flour) for the past 6 weeks.
I definitely do not want to have kidney issues/stones though...
Thanks for responding Vince..Do you mean I’m a good candidate based on the low T alone or was there other factors to make you say that?
Also, would you consider my SHBG Low? I figure it’s on the lower side so would I be a good candidate for higher gauge needles instead of harpoons with a more...
Hey all,
Below you will find the results from LabCorps. I have also added Hemoglobin A1c as my father was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes. These will be before my first consultation at Defy.
A little about me (posted some in the Introduction section):
-30 years old, 6'1 184lbs
-African...
TEST RESULTS ARE IN. Really not sure what I am looking at though.
Not too happy about my lipid panel, but I've been pretty depressed this past month and know my diet has been pretty crap (junk food, sweets, alcohol, low protein) and working out hasn't been done in a month. When I was...
Im waiting on my lab work to come back before scheduling my consult with Defy. I randomly went to a different T clinic and I was told my testosterone is 265 ng/ml at 30 years of age.
Here’s the thing though: I feel depressed, I feel like a shell of my former 20yr old self, no motivation, BUT I...
Getting my physical (Issues avoided)
I’ve read about people who have issues with getting their physical for Defy due to facilities being scared, making up lies, or just straight up refusing to administer a physical.
Im glad I read one post that stated if you don’t want any issues, white the...
I changed my Lab order and just got everything you mentioned (TSH was already on the panel) except for the antibodies.
Will be going to LabCorps tomorrow and post results when they come. Thank you for the suggestion.
Along with the low T I’m really just trying to get my health in check. I...
I will be posting my blood panel when I receive the results. Thank you for the quick reply!
After going to Low T Clinic today and REFUSING to continue with their services, I immediately called Jesse from Defy and started the process. I’ll be going to a Lab Corp today to see what my results...
I’m 30 years old and generally just feel old and unmotivated most of the time. I feel like I’m living in a shell of myself and pretty depressed (could probably get put on some antidepressants, but don’t want to go that route)..
I’ve stupidly taken prohormone cycles years ago, and lost the gains...
