Why take Clomid if your E is already low?

Can you explain your question in a bit more detail? Clomid, among other things in a PCT, typically raises estradiol values...or am I misunderstanding you?

Thanks.

My understaning is that Clomid is used in a restart in order to increase LH/FSH and thereby increase Testosterone. But if you already have a low E level, why is it necessary to use Clomid to increase LH/FSH?

What are you trying to accomplish?
Raising your T levels?
Starting TRT?
As your T level rises so would your E so we aren't understanding what it is your asking/trying to accomplish here.......

I think he's saying that clomid/SERMs "fool" the hypothalamus and pituitary into seeing less estrogen and therefore you get more GnRH and then more LH/FSH and then more T. But if estrogen is already low then how does it work? I'm no expert but I think it's still the same basic deal... estrogen may be low to begin with but if clomid makes it seem to be even lower then there will be some increased reaction (you hope) from the hypothalamus and pituitary.

My E2 is very low naturally, and my LH is 6 multiple times tested. I guess it's indicates I'm primary and Clomid might be useless. At the same time I took DHEA for a few weeks, and my E2 raised two times, from 8 to 16. My Test stayed the same though.

Understanding Your Hormones

Estradiol (E2)

A form of estrogen produced from testosterone. Important for bone health, mood, and libido. Too high can cause side effects; too low can affect well-being.

DHT

Dihydrotestosterone is a potent androgen derived from testosterone. Affects hair growth, prostate health, and masculinization effects.

Free Testosterone

The biologically active form of testosterone not bound to proteins. Directly available for cellular uptake and biological effects.
