I didn't know what section to create this thread...

I found out today that I'm allergic to avocados, I ate half of one with an egg inside, my eyes were swollen shut for hours, nasal passages closed and several throat irritation. I was unable to make it to the ER because well I couldn't see.

I always had a minor throat irritation after eating small amounts of avocados in my sandwiches and never thought nothing of it until now. I was wondering if there might be a way to build up immunity somehow, because they are healthy.

I'm trying to improve my diet do to my A1C being 7.3, I guess no more In & Out.

As far as I know I'm not allergic to any food. I've never heard of anyone being allergic to avocados but I'm sure it's possible. I try to eat one avocado every day.

I think dairy is just recently starting to give me a little bit of acid reflux. Other than that, nothing.

I was diagnosed with silent reflux recently. I drink about 1 gallon of milk every 24 hours, I'm now drinking almond milk. I'm doing a major diet change and bought a very nice indoor grill to cook my fresh chicken and steak.

Everytime I go out to eat something, I have to ask myself if I can eat it. If I eat out is must be a salad.
